Castor's pov

William, Edward and I buckled our armour in the armor room. None of us said anything, each with his own thoughts. Personally I wasn't in support of what we were about to do. As far as I'm concerned, there's no need tugging on the lion's mane but Edward had said I was being too chicken. I didn't bother denying it. I was scared Alice might show up. I was irrevocably scared of anyone with magic. It gave me a sense of security that Alina was going with us. In fact she insisted on it. You know, incase Alice decides to make an appearance. Edward walked over to me and told me to go get Alina. I looked at him as if he was insane. There's absolutely no way I was going to approach Alina. Didn't I mention I was scared of her? Well in case I didn't, I'm saying it now. I'm shit scared of Alina. There's no way I'll go anywhere where she and I are going to be alone. No way. I ignored Edward and continued putting on my armor. When Edward saw I refused to move, he huffed and stalked out. Good for him. I hope one day she snaps and turns him to a chicken.

Alina's pov

I put on my royal robe meant for sisters of light. I haven't worn it since the attack on my palace. It still looked beautiful and I wore my tiara. I'm sure you are wondering how I got it, well William gave them to me. I don't know how he was able to get them but I was grateful he did.

I strapped on my bows and arrows. I heard a knock on the door and went to open. I saw Edward standing there. He looked at me shocked. He has never seen me dress like royalty so his mouth fell open. He blinked as if clearing his vision and said
"Are you ready Alina? It's time to go"
I turned to pick up my sword and replied "Yes I'm ready"
Together we met the others, got on our horses and rode to Opena. William brought a hundred thousand soldiers with us. When we got to the boundary of Opena, I raised my hand gesturing for everyone to stop. William turned to me, his gaze questioning but I ignored him and dismounted from my horse. Something doesn't feel right. I sniffed the air trying to place it but there was nothing there. Yet my gut wasn't settled so I walked to the boundary line. As soon as my leg touched the boundary line, I withdrew instantly. It was hot as if there was invisible fire there. William, Castor and Edward dismounted and walked over to me.
"What's going on?" William asked
I tried again and stepped on the boundary line but the same thing happened. I turned to the guys and said "Protection spell. It prevents anyone with magic from crossing except you are the creator of the spell" Edward looked frustrated. William asked "So do we turn back?"
I shook my head at him and said "no, I'm going to try to break it. Judging by the force, it seems it's an amateur who cast it. You guys might wanna take a step back while I work" They instantly moved away from me as soon as I finished talking. I threw my hands over the boundary line and began reciting the spell. It took about fifteen minutes before I felt the force over the boundary line fade away. I walked back to where I left my horse and mounted. They others looked at me for confirmation and I nodded. They breathed down in relief and William gave the order to attack.
I used my bow and arrows first shooting at any opposing soldier in sight. Soon I ran out of arrows and I drew out my sword. I fought for a while then I had the feeling one of us was in danger. I used my eyes to search for each of them. Castor was fighting off three men but he seemed to be doing well. No sign of injuries. Edward was fighting with a huge soldier ten sizes bigger than him but he seemed to be handling his own. Only a nick on his shoulder but other than that, no injuries. I searched for William and began to panic before I spoted him few meters away. He was fighting with a soldier unknowingly another was creeping up sword raised high behind him ready to strike. I tore through the mass of bodies and made it in time to block the attack with my sword. I killed him easily. All these killing were making me queasy but I ignored it. One must do what has to be done. William disposed off the one he was fighting and turned around to see who saved his ass. He nodded at me in thanks. Together we fought back to back protecting each other till all opposing warriors were dead. The king of Opena surrendered. He knelt before me quivering. I killed the rest that surrendered but spared the king and sent him a message to Alice.
"Tell her the empress of light is coming for her"
