Castor's pov

Oh shit! My breath got caught in my throat. I couldn't breathe. My head was jumbled. Then the alarm set in. I began dancing on my feet. I couldn't stay one place. All forces of reasoning seemed to abandon me. My head was filled with three emotions. Nervousness, Fear and dread. That seemed to be the emotions my brain recognized. The rest was mush. I didn't know what to do. I linked my hands together only to release them again. I stood up and began rambling.
"oh shit! We're screwed! Should we run? I think we should run! No hold on! We shouldn't run. We should stay hidden here until she leaves. There! That will be better. Of course" Edward didn't say anything. He just kept staring at me with amusement dancing in his eyes. I guess my fear is amusing to him.

Edward's pov

I stared at Castor as he kept rambling and running around like an headless chicken. Despite the situation we were in, I couldn't help but feel amsued. Who knew something could scare Mighty Castor this much? A woman nonetheless. Oh this is epic. I'll never let him live this down. Laughter bubbled up my throat and I bit my tongue in effort to hold it in. After some time, I couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing. He stopped rambling and turned to me.
"What's funny? We are within thirty meters of the mist dangerous person to exist and you find it funny?" he asked me obviously annoyed.
I tried to control my laughter but I failed so I keeled over in laughter. He was standing there trying to catch his breath. After a while, my laughter subsided to chuckles and I voiced out.
"Who knew the mighty Castor could get so scared like this?"
He folded his hands and huffed at me
"I am not scared. I am just thinking of what to do!" He tried denying. When he saw I wasn't buying it, he tried convincing me. "I said I'm only thinking. Something you should also be doing instead of squatting there laughing. You won't be able to laugh when she spots us and turn us to a human barbecue"
I rolled my eyes and said sarcastically
"Sure you were not scared. You just felt like rambling about nonsense. It's all good" He looked at exasperated, finally admitting.
"Okay, fine. I am scared. And nervous. And terrified. Who wouldn't be? And I was not rambling about nonsense."
I nodded understanding his point. I was scared too but I wouldn't let myself admit it that after all these years, Alice still scared me shitless. Though she looks innocent, I have seen firsthand what she's capable of. The thought alone sent shivers down my spine. So I tried to change the subject. I turned to Castor and asked
"What do you think we should do?"
He squatted back down to meet my eye level and replied
"I honestly don't know. We could try attacking her. There are two of us and one of her. We could capture her and take her to William."
I shook my head immediately disagreeing with him.
"No that's a bad idea. Alice is too powerful and dangerous. Ten of us won't even be able to capture her. There must be something else we can do. We have to think about this logically". I was about suggesting an idea when I noticed he was no longer paying attention to me. Instead he was staring at something behind me with eyes wide and fear in his eyes. I turned around to look at what got his attention and froze.
Alice. She had spotted us and was making her way over to us. Oh shit. We are in trouble.
Enormous trouble.

Alina's pov

I've been walking around for hours but I'm still in the forest. It's as if the forest is endless. I am thirsty, hungry and tired. I decided to sit down for a bit and rest. I sat on a fallen trunk of a tree. My legs were numb and had bruises on them. My stomach rumbled loudly reminding me of my hunger. Few minutes later when I felt a little revived, I decided I might as well look for water. I stood up and chose a direction at random. I went east.
I walked for a long time till something caught my attention far away. I moved closer and could see the their shape as humans and something about them seemed familiar. I crept slowly trying to see if I recognized them. Surprisingly I recognized one as Edward and didn't know who the other man was. I was about to call out to him when I heard a woman's voice. I turned to see they weren't alone. I saw the outline of a woman. She looked familiar. I squinted my eyes trying to see her clearly. I froze in fear when I recognized the woman. It was my nemesis, Alice and she was standing opposite Edward and the unknown man. There's fire on the mountain!
