as we got in the plane, haewon took a seat, right beside my seat. i was obviously happy, but i didn't show it.

before the plane even started moving, haewon plugged in her earphones and slept. as the plane was taking off, her head started falling, and at some point, she hit her head on the window lightly. she seemed like a very heavy sleeper to not be awake even if she hit her head.

she was making me uncomfortable just by looking at her, so i lightly took her head and laid it on my shoulder, so her head could have a place to rest instead of going around.

i took out my book and read it. after around 20 minutes of reading, i felt sleepy and decided to sleep.

i woke up, right on time as the plane was slowly arriving. as the plane landed, i lightly shook haewon's shoulder in order to wake her up.

when she woke up, she looked so shocked when she realized that she was sleeping on my shoulder. darn, she's so cute.

"yah," haewon spoke as we were heading out the airport. "sorry for sleeping on your shoulder."

"oh, no. it's okay." i said.

we got in the van, and after a couple minutes, we arrived in the house that we were staying in. haewon was so excited that she was the first one to go out the car with her luggage and left her family to get the rest of their luggage.

she rang the doorbell as i got my suitcase, and the door opened revealing a boy, around 3-4 years younger than us, smiling widely.

i walked over to them as i got my luggage, and introduced eachother. apparently, he was seungkwan, haewon's cousin on her mom's side.

i also met her aunt and her grandma. haewon's grandma even mistook me as haewon's boyfriend, which made me happy.

the rest of her family, along with my mom, came in the house with their luggages.

"hyungwon! is that you? you look so handsome!" her aunt said. "how could both of you be such beautiful and handsome children?"

"truly beautiful." i mumbled, making sure only i heard it.

haewon walked to the kitchen to get some rice cakes that her grandma made, and i followed. the rice cakes were delicious, i gotta say.

nighttime came, and haewon's mom was cooking dinner. haewon and i were playing with our phones in the living room, while the rest of the people are upstairs.

"haewon-ah! can you head to the convenience store real quick and buy some eggs?" her mom asked.

"why me?" she asked.

"just buy it, please! i'll give you some money, you can use it to buy whatever you want in the store after you buy the eggs."

"ooh, okay!" she said.

she stood up, wore her shoes and her coat, got the money that her mom gave her, and headed out.

we were living in a place in jeju where it wasn't very crowded, the night was very dark, and there were barely any street lights. considering that she was a girl and it was around 8:00 PM at night, i feel like something bad was gonna happen. 8:00 PM is also already a late time in korea, and it wouldn't be safe for a girl her age go out at night by her own.
