We didn't say anything, but instead just nodded our heads.

" Tell me, please what happened exactly."

We said what happened one by one leaving me to be the last. I said whatever I had to say. Then Aiden surprised us all. He pulled out his phone and played a recording that changed the whole situation.

The voice of Corbyn roared around in my ears as he said the most disgusting words I have ever heard. He repeatedly said that he was gonna fu*k me so hard I wouldn't remember my name. He talked about me as if I was property, not a human being with feelings. This was all so overwhelming. I felt tears form up in my eyes but I wasn't going to cry because of this asshole, I'm better than that. I quickly blinked them away and put my game face on. They were not about to see me weak. The principal quickly put me back on the ground and continued.

" You all know I will have to punish you," she said folding her hands " All of you will be suspended for 3 days. Including you Angela. "

Aiden looked at me and back at the principal. He was getting pretty angry but calmed down after I put my hand over his. He lifted his head to look at me and smiled. I knew that gesture was appreciated, even though he didn't say a word. After the meeting with the principal was done, all three of us stepped out. It was completely silent. I turned to Aiden, raised an eyebrow and looked at the other end of the hall. He knew exactly what that meant. When he didn't notice I zoomed past him and a bunch of lockers as fast as I could. He may have gone easy on me and let me win or I'm just too fast. Well, either way, I got to my locker and soon his steps slowed down behind me. We finished packing and left school.

Neither of us wanted to go home yet, so we decided to eat something. Aiden took me to this super cute diner. It was the typical 80's type with the neon signs, old-style booths, music players and checkered floors. I looked around taking in the restaurant. We sat in a booth at the back and called for the menus. Aiden sat opposite of me. We decided to order a bunch of fries and a chocolate milkshake that we could share. After a few minutes, our food came and it looked delicious!

" Woah this looks really good," I said looking at the food, " how did you get to know about this place?" I asked as I ate a fry.

" I was driving around the town with a friend, while we were looking for shelter since it was raining that night and stumbled upon this place," he said trying to steal the fry I had in my hand.

" Hey watch it, mister! You have other fries in the basket." I said shooing his hand away.

He made a grumpy face as he reached into the basket taking a bunch of fries and stuffing them into his mouth. I chuckled at him and did the same, almost choking. We both laughed and talked. I reached for the shake and put my lips on the straw sipping the drink and Aiden did the same. I ended up staring into his eyes and he stared into mine. We touched our foreheads together and continued to sip on the drink. I think I'm going to go crazy if he continues doing this.

After eating our food I asked him for a quarter for the music player. I flipped through the songs until I found the one that I wanted. As the music started playing, I bopped my head. After a while, I started getting more and more into it. Aiden observed me as I did. Then I decided to do something crazy, so I climbed a stool and hopped onto the bar. I danced and danced until I felt his hand on my waist. Aiden joined my dance party and we danced for a long time. At around 8 pm we decided to go back home.

He dropped me off at my house and drove off. I waved at him as he did so and walked to my house, tired but happy. As I shut the door my mom walked downstairs and folded her arms, looking at me with an angered expression. I knew a storm was coming. I prepared myself for it and my mom began to speak.

" Angela Brook Wellington. I am so disappointed in you." She said looking straight into my eyes.

You know there is nothing worse than hearing your parent say that they are disappointed in you. I just stood there looking at her as she continued to speak.

" I got a message from your principal. What has gone into you?" she looked at me surprised " Oh I know. It's that boy Aiden isn't it?" she said.

I was starting to get angry at my mom. She was not going to blame Aiden for something he didn't do. As I continued to listen to her saying all that bull I couldn't just stand there and say nothing so I spoke.

" You will not talk about him like that! He's my friend and he means so much to me. I can't listen to you anymore!" I started to tear up and ran upstairs.

As I did, my mom screamed at me to come back down and taking about grounding me, but I didn't listen. When I reached my room, my dad came outside of the master bedroom. He didn't say anything, instead, he just looked at me. I smashed the door and fell on my bed, face first and cried my eyes out. After a while of soaking my pillow, I heard a quiet knock on my window. I already knew who it was.
