Chapter 13 - Party Time

" I'll think about it"

I really did think about it but didn't tell anybody my decision. I went to the mall on Friday to get a cute bikini for the party and decided to get a simple black bikini since it would match everything. The part I looked forward to the most was seeing Aiden again. I couldn't stop thinking about him ever since what happened at the hospital and to be honest I wanted to kiss him again.

Saturday finally came. I was really excited. I woke at 10 am to get ready since the party starts at 1 pm, I would have enough time to get ready and eat breakfast. I pulled out a bowl from the cupboard and a cereal box and poured some cereal into the bowl. I then turned towards the fridge for milk. I reached for it and opened it to see if it was good to drink, but it was already spoiled.

" Damn it," I murmured to myself

Since there was no milk I decided to go to the grocery store to buy some and maybe get snacks for later. I got dressed, picked up my bag and hopped onto my bike which I had to remove from the large amounts of rubbish in our garage. I rode down the road listening to music. When I finally arrived at the shop, I got what I needed + the snacks and some drinks and went back home. Then, I finally ate my cereal and started getting ready.

When I was done, I woke up my sister who was still sleeping (no surprise there) to look after the house. I again hopped on my bike and drove off. After a short while, I got to the beach to see a bunch of people dancing, eating, drinking and even making out. Like Jesus, it's only 1 pm and you can't stop yourself from sticking your tongue down each other's throat. I looked around to find people that I knew. That went on for a few minutes until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around in surprise fitting the person with my elbow in self-defence only to realise it was Aiden.

" Oh my god, Aiden! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you I was just surprised," I said as I covered my mouth with my hands.

" Hey don't worry 'bout it, Angie. It's no big deal," He wiped his nose and the little droplets of blood.

" It is a big deal. Come with me, I'll help you clean up." I took his hand and led him to a small public bathroom at the beach.

We entered the bathroom and I reached for a paper towel from one of the stalls. I poured some water on it to make it damp and wiped his nose. After I was done I threw it into the trash and left the bathroom, but Aiden didn't follow. I went back in again to check if he was okay only to find him standing at the door waiting for me.

" Are you coming?" I peeked in around the corner and raised an eyebrow

" Not until I get an apology for that hit" he smirked at me.

I knew exactly what he wanted but I wasn't going to give in so easily. I had to tease him a little.

" I don't know if you deserve it," I said

He rolled his eyes and walked up to me. Aiden lifted me up to the sinks and sat me on the edge of one. He had his arms around my waist and was staring into my eyes deeply. I was trying to hold back from kissing him but couldn't. I brushed my lips gently against Aiden's, making him beg for more. I finally pressed my lips against him. Immediately our tongues started dancing with each other in perfect harmony and our lips moulded into one another. We continued kissing with growing passion until I heard the door open.

I pulled away from Aiden and looked back at the door to see Molly staring at us. She had her mouth open agape and immediately turned around to run. Aiden and I soon followed and managed to catch up with her, thanks to Aiden's long legs. We finally stopped.

" Molly what did you see?" I asked still trying to catch my breath.

" Umm, only you sitting on the sink," she said " and making out with Aiden

"Promise you won't tell anyone," Aiden and I said at the same time.

" I promise," said Molly

The three of us walked back to the party, where everybody else was. I greeted Blake and asked him where the drinks were and he pointed towards the table. I asked if Aiden wanted to come since Molly and Blake already had drinks and he agreed. We walked over and took one of the red solo cups that lay on the table. He poured me some of the drink and passed me the cup. We sat around and talked for a while until Blake came over and said people were playing beer pong but needed an opponent.

Aiden and I agreed to play and walked over to the table. Blake passed a ball to Aiden, who threw the ball perfectly into the cup. The game continued until each team had only one cup left. It was my turn to throw, so I was getting pretty nervous, but Aiden gave me one of those reassuring looks. I focused on the cup and threw the ball. It bounced on the table a couple of times before bouncing into the cup.

" OMG, I DID IT!" I exclaimed as the crowd erupted into cheer.

I turned to Aiden who high fived me and pulled me in for a kiss. I didn't stop him, because we probably wouldn't be able to hide the emotions we had for each other for long before people noticed.
