" You know" he took deep breaths, " You should consider joining the track team. You're like the female version of Usain Bolt" he laughed
" Haha. Very funny." I rolled my eyes " You should get dressed. I don't want anyone falling in love with you" I winked.

"Of course not, because you're mine." He smiled
I looked at him and couldn't stop myself from blushing. The sun slid through the blinds in the kitchen caressing Aiden's skin. As if he wasn't good looking already, the sun made him look even better. I was kinda sad that I had to leave instead of looking at him, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I traced my fingers on the wall as I slowly walked towards the staircase. After walking up the stairs I gently opened the door to my room trying not to make a sound as my parents were probably still sleeping. My room was a mess. Pillows and blankets on the floor. Before walking over to my closet and picking out my outfit, I picked up the pillows and put them on my bed. I folded the blankets neatly and put them back in the place.
I got dressed and got ready for the day. It was getting pretty chilly so I made sure to get something warm. When Aiden and I were ready to get out of the house my mom came downstairs. She looked tired, with dark bags under her eyes. I wonder what happened. She blindly shuffled to the kitchen not noticing me or Aiden.
" Good morning Mom," I said with a smile on my face.
" Oh. Good morning." she murmured while reaching for a cup from the cupboard.
" Good morning Mrs Wellington." he smiled and entangled our fingers " How are you doing today?"
" Not so great. Tough day," she poured a hefty amount of coffee into her cup and sipped it.
" Oh, I'm sorry," Aiden said as he looked at my mom " I hope it gets better."
" Thank you, Aiden" she took her cup and started walking towards the living room
" Hey mom, we're going out to the market. Do you need anything?" I said
" Maybe something for my head. Hurts like hell." she grasped her head in pain.
I nodded and opened the door. The crisp, cold air tingled my face. It felt good. We left the house and started walking to the bus stop. The trees were already starting to lose all their leaves as winter was approaching. My favourite season. Everything seems to be asleep while covered by a white blanket. It's so beautiful. We sat down on the bench and Aiden wrapped his arm around me. Warmth spread through my body as I put my head on his shoulder. We waited for the bus to arrive in silence while enjoying the presence of each other. I took my phone out of my pocket and opened my camera. I handed it to Aiden.
" Can you take a picture of us?" I asked him
" Of course dolly." he extended his arm to take the picture.
I kissed his cheek as he clicked a selfie. We took a bunch after that and when we were done I took my phone back. I scrolled through all of them and picked the best one. I made it my wallpaper. He smiled at me as I did so. He squeezed my hand and kissed my forehead. Soon enough the bus arrived and we entered.
" Two tickets please," I said as I smiled at the bus driver.
" Of course, two tickets. That will be $6," he smiled back
" Thank you." I took Aiden's hand and led him to some empty seats.
I looked out the window as the city passed by in a blur. Aiden put his hand on my thigh. I felt tingles race up my spine as he did so. I put my hand on top of his and looked at him with a smile and he leaned in to give me a delicate kiss. After we pulled away from each other, my phone buzzed in my pocket. It was from Molly. I wondered what she wanted. The screen lit up and said:
'Angie I need to tell you something. In person. It's urgent.'
' Aiden and I are going out into the town. Maybe we can meet up in a cafe there?'
' Sound perfect. See you there.'
I really wondered what she wanted to talk to me about but I guess I'll find out. The rest of the bus ride was nothing special. Aiden and I talked about nothing and everything. We arrived in the town and started walking to the cafe, hand in hand. I shivered in the cold and Aiden pulled me closer to keep me warm. I push the door open the let Aiden in. He looks in my direction and gives me a slight bow to show gratitude. I look around to try and find Molly but couldn't see her anywhere, so I decided to go order drinks for the three of us. I got a hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream for me and Molly, which was our favourite drink of all time, especially during winter. Aiden got black coffee, which in my opinion, is kinda boring but what can I say. We waited for a bit for our drinks and when we got them we found a table we could sit at. I tried sipping my drink but only ended up burning my tongue.
" Ow!" I said quietly
" Hey, you ok?" Aiden looked concerned
" Yes baby, I'm ok. I just burned my tongue a bit" I showed my tongue to him
" Ooooh! Your tongue is really red." he had this weirdly shocked expression on his face
" Is it really?" I was about to pull out my phone and try to see but Aiden stopped me and smiled.
" I'm just messin' with ya" he laughed
I rolled my eyes at him and now before sipping my hot chocolate, I remembered to blow on it. After waiting for another few minutes the door opened again and Molly came in. She looked around the room trying to find me and Aiden so I waved her over. She sat down and took a deep breath.
" I need to tell you something." she looked at the both of us.
