Chapter 26 - Friends

Daniel's P.O.V

After texting Ali, I was pretty excited to get out the house. I told her I'll meet her in a hour and I guess I'm already dress.

So right now I'm in my room going trough my twitter feed, I get a lot of tweets from girls saying I should call them and tweets from guys saying Ethan and I should hang out with them; I'm not trying to brag but its kind of annoying.

"Daniel!" my mom yelled from downstairs

"Yeah?" I yelled back

"Come downstairs please" she yelled back

As I came downstairs, I heard my sister Dana crying, I turned the corner into the living room to see my parents, Dana, and Ethan and his parents.

"What's going on?" I asked looking at Dana

"A group of girls tried to jump me" she whines. I rolled my eyes because Dana has a big mouth, so I don't see why they wouldn't.

"Ha! What you do this time? Did you say they look trashy?" Ethan said

"No, I was walking home then a group of girls started running towards me. But good thing dad was there." Dana whined

"Oh my god, what we going to do?" my mom asked

"My people are going to handle it, we already got one the girls." My dad said trying to calm every one down.

Whether or not these females are from the group of people that's after us, they're acting like complete bitches.

I decided to walk towards the door to put on my shoes, because to get Ali's house it's like a ten minute drive. As I was putting on my shoes, Ethan walked up to me and raised on eyebrow.

"Where are you going this late?" Ethan asked

"I'm going to see Ali" I simply said

"Daniel, you shouldn't bring a girl into our situation" he said

"Look, I'm not looking for a relationship, and I'm not going to tell her anything. I just want a new friend." I said getting up

"Fine, but take me to Chloe's house, she's having a party." he said walking away to get his shoes.

When we got in my car I looked at Ethan who was smiling.

"So you tell me not get involved with a girl, but here you are sleeping with chicks every night." I say as I start the car.

"I meant don't get your feelings involved. I only get involved with their bodies." He said as he smirked at me.

"Oh my god." I said and he started laugh.

After dropping Ethan off, it wasn't so hard finding Ali's house. I pulled up to her place and it looked very nice.

I got out my car looking around, I decided to leaned against my car and wait. Well that only lasted about fifteen seconds because a panting girl ran up block. She looked up and looked at my car. It was Ali, and I instantly smiled; wait what?

"Hey Ali, why are you panting?" I asked

"Oh I was down the block and I remembered that I had to meet you here." She said trying to catch her breath.

"Well come on, we can go get you something to drink." I said and she nodded.

I really enjoy talking to Ali, she told me why she was down the block and she gave me a more detailed story about Kendrick and Kaylee. Man people these days are really cruel.

"So why do you have a black Mercedes? People on this side of town aren't really rich." She asked, I guess I can say a little.

"My parents are millionaires so they gave me it for my birthday" I explain

"Wow, I have some catching up to do, 'cause I just got my license" she said and started to laugh. And I started to laugh to.

"But it's not all fun and games I want a normal life." I said still trying not say much.

"Well I need friends, so I'm spending the last weeks of summer trying to make some." She admits.

I kind of feel bad, I want to tell her about my life my but she might know the group of people. Wait, no don't think like that. I want a friend too.

Ali's POV

Daniel seems really nice, but there's something about him that draws me to him. Maybe because he seems like a bad boy. Wait he is one! It looked like his mind was something else.

"Are you ok?" I ask

"Yeah, there's gonna be a city fair and my family is dragging me there" he said

"Wow, I didn't even know there was one, I guess I'll be there." I said regretting the last words.

"Mm, I guess I can go" he said. Oh my god, the tone in his voice. He sounds like a total bad ass, and it sounds so natural.

"I gotta make some friends" I said

"You know we can be friends" he said

"Wow, really you seem like type to only bang girls and have a few friends." I said

He awkwardly laughs

"Waits it's true!" I exclaimed getting up

"Yeah so?" He said

"Oh don't feel guilty bad boy." I said proudly

When I got home my mom came running to me and gave me a hug. I looked at the clock at and saw it was 11:00, I didn't realize it was that late.

"You had me so worried! I'm sorry Ali, that I wasn't on your side. And don't worry about Kaylee she's in deep trouble now." She said

"Ok" I said

"Where were you?" She aske s curiously

"With my friend Daniel"
