He'll Leave Me (chap. 19)

Jordan's POV:

I woke up feeling something soft in my arms. I look down and see Kierra in only my shirt and I smile as I remember what happened yesterday and last night.

I look at my alarm clock and see it's 6:00. The sun isn't even all the way up. Perfect.

I slowly get out of bed, making sure not to wake Kierra. I go in the bathroom and wash my face before going in my closet to get a shirt.

I put on a black shirt, some shoes, and grab my earbuds and phone off the dresser. I walk downstairs, and out the door. I put some music on low and place my phone in my pocket.

I then start my daily run. I always jog around the neighborhood twice, run 3 times, and then jog twice again. I finished in like an hour because of how big the neighborhood is.

I finally reach the house and I go upstairs to my room and take a shower. I put on some grey sweats and brush my teeth before getting back in bed.

Kierra snuggles up to me and I wrap my arms around her before fall back to sleep.

I wake up again and see it's 9:00. I look at Kierra to see her still peacefully sleeping. I stretch before getting out of bed and going in the kitchen. My mom is already in there cooking breakfast.

I kiss her on the cheek and speak.

" 'Morning ma" She leans her cheek towards me and responds. " 'morning. Kierra sill sleep?" Or course she knows Kierra is here.

"Yes ma'am. I'm not sure when she'll be up. The last couple of days have been very chaotic and stressful for her." She nods her head.

"You better be treating her right or else I'll go through on my threat of kicking you out. Make sure she knows you're there for her." I chuckle.

"Yes ma'am. I've been trying, but I'm new to this. I'm already in love with her but I don't know how she feels. I don't want to overwhelm her. Especially with people after her."

My mom nods her head. "I understand. Maybe you should tell her how you feel. Completely. I have a feeling someone has broken her heart before and she's trying to be cautious."

Now that I think about it. Kierra did say it's another story that I don't know yet. We still have a lot to talk about.

As I sit there contemplating what I'm going to do, Travis walks in. I raise an eyebrow at him as he avoids my eyes.

My mom doesn't seem surprised. "Is Jess still sleep?" Travis hesitates before nodding. "She was having nightmares around 2, but since then she's been in a deep sleep."

My mom nods muttering to herself. "Now I just gotta get Jr and Tay one." (A/N Tay is Lontavious)

I look at my mom wondering did she say what I think she said.

Before I got to comment on it, I hear noises upstairs like someone is falling or stumbling. Seeing as though Kierra manages to trip over air, I run up the stairs knowing it's her.

I open my door to see her on the floor groaning. I walk over to her and pick her up. I walk us to the bed and sit down with her straddling me. She snuggles up into me, making me chuckle.

"Goodmorning Princess." Instead of answering me, she hums and kiss my cheek. I smile and tilt her face up to look at me. She keeps her eyes close making me realize she's half sleep.

I lay her down before going in the bathroom to cut the shower on. I know she likes her showers steaming hot so I made sure it was right for her.

I locked my room door before going over to take Kierra's clothes off. Seeing as though she only had on my shirt, it was easy. I stripped also, before picking her up and walking in the shower.
