POV: Kierra

As we walk down the hallway looking for our class, I bump into someone... again. I couldn't help but laugh a little. I was looking up when I felt Jessica leaving my side.

Instead of looking up, I looked at Jessica retreating back. I mutter "traitor" under my breath. Obviously I didn't say it as low as I thought because a deep voice—evidently—belonging to the person I bumped into spoke. "Scared to be alone with me?" I rolled my eyes because his tone of voice sounded like any other playboy.

I just shook my head without looking at him. I mutter "never again" under my breath, as I remember what happened last time. I simply walked around him, and eventually found my class.

Once I got in class the bell rung not 2 seconds after I sat down. I just kept my head down and sat in the last row by the window.

I would've looked around to see Jessica, but after that little situation in the hall I'm starting to wonder if she's who I thought she was.

Class was honestly just getting to share information about yourself if you wanted to, and seeing what we already know since we're advanced. When the bell rung I got up and wondered the halls.

Mrs.Reed, the RLA teacher, had given us our schedules at the beginning of class. Turns out I have math next. I don't know about anyone else but I love math, it's my favorite subject.

As I was trying to sneak and get a look at the time on my phone—phones aren't allowed at school—someone put their foot out and tripped me.

Before I could hit the ground, muscular arms go around me. In seconds, I was sat on my feet, and a finger was under my chin to tilt my face up.

He had hazel–brown eyes that had extremely long eye lashes. He had dark brown, almost black, hair. I'm not gonna lie, he was extremely attractive. He was about 6'2 which made me feel like a midget.

"You ok Princess?" Wait, that was the same voice from earlier. I look down despite his finger and mutter "sorry, excuse me." With that, I walk to my next class with my head down.

I get to class a couple of minutes early, so I just put my head down on the desk. I can't wait until I graduate and move away. The only thing I'll miss is my mom, dad, and sister. Especially my dad, I'm a daddy's girl through and through. I just wish he wasn't already at work by the time I woke up, but at least he's there when I get out of school.

I was so into my thoughts I didn't realize the bell had rung, and everyone was in class. "Ms. Rogers head up please. You may be my favorite student, but you still gotta learn." With that and a wink, Mr. Evans turned around and continued talking about whatever he was saying at first.

Mr. Evans is my favorite teacher. He taught me math in 10th and 11th grade also. On the first day he always ramble, so I just continue to tune him out.

Around the last 5 minutes of class the door opens and guess who enters. None other than the boy with hazel–brown eyes. He sits down in the chair right next to the door. I inwardly groan and put my head back down. Mr. Evans continues talking, like the boy never entered. He's cool like that.

Once the bell ring I try and hurry out of class, but I wasn't fast enough. "Princess!" I know who it is, but I still continue walking.

I'm not trying to be rude or nothing, but I tend to just stay away from the male population, other than my dad. It's easy really. They stay away from me and I stay away from them. It's a joint effort.

After about 3 more steps I feel someone's arm go around my waist.

I instantly freeze and so do they, or should I say him. I turn to look up at him. Letting out a breath, I say what I'm thinking. "Look I promise I'm not trying to be a bitch, but I'm not really social. I tend to be to myself. Ok?"
