I didn't know that the great Juan Gerardo Gomez de Liaño was so forgetful... or maybe, he just didn't give that much importance about our relationship as much as I did.

And I hated myself for it.

Because I cared more about our relationship more than he did.

What happened in the past... I didn't want it to happen again to me. To my current relationship. I was scared... or siguro, nadala na lang talaga ako.

It's already been what?

Five days since our supposedly monthsary. Hindi naman ako naniniwala na wala siyang alam sa relationship, no. As far as I know, he had an ex... well, she says she's an ex.

April 16, 2019.

It's our first monthsary.

What's the date today?

It's already April 21, 2019.

Five days. It has been five freaking days and the nerve of that broccoli guy na hindi magparamdam sa akin! Can't I at least have that?

And it's making me real mad.

"You sure?" Lauren asked me.

I nodded at her and smile. "Yeah, I'll just commute," sabi ko sa kaniya, because Juan wasn't here to pick me up kasi nga LQ yata kami. I don't really know. "Besides, isang sakay lang naman pauwi sa amin," I assured her. Ayokong abalahin pa siya dahil ibang way naman 'yung papunta sa subdivision nila.

If it was just a normal day, I would've called our family driver to fetch me, but then it's a different day today. I'm just tired, wala na 'kong lakas para hintayin pa si Manong.

"Sabby, makipag-ayos ka na, okay? I'm sure he never intended to forget about you---"

Umiling ako. "It's really okay," I told her. "I should get going..." I said before I turned my back at her. It was already seven in the evening, I just didn't want to talk to her about me and Juan. I'm sure she'll just say the same things all over again. That I should understand him because he's busy with life... but what about me? Am I not busy? I'm also busy with my life, but I never forget such things most specially if it's the first.

I just booked a Grab because it's kinda risky to commute nowadays, lalo na if you're a girl and you're alone. All through the ride I was just looking outside the window. All these cars passing by, citylights that are slowly fading away.

Life's sad.

Well, sometimes.

I gave the driver my payment before I got out of the car. I watched the car drift away and it revealed the GDL brothers right in front of me. Natigilan ako. It wasn't just the broccoli brothers, he was together with the whole team... and even my cousin, Kuya Diego.

I frowned at him. He smiled at me and looked like he was shy—as usual. "If akala mo bati na tayo, hindi pa din," I told him.

He only smiled again. Ni walang balak na lapitan ako.

"I don't care if Monday's blue..." kanta niya ng acapella.

"I don't care if Monday's blue..." second voice naman ng buong team.

"Tuesday's gray and Wednesday too..." they all sang as they're swaying with matching snaps at the end.

"Thursday, I don't care about you."

Lumakad na siya sa akin. He held both of my hands as he looked straight into my eyes. "It's Friday... I'm in love with Saturday."

Kaagad na naghiyawan ang mga kasama niya. I can't help but tear up a bit.

He only laughed as he hugged me. "I'm sorry," he said as he kissed my temples. "Sorry, baby."

Kumalas na ako sa yakap niya. "I'm sorry din."

"Come on," he said as he offered me his hand. I accepted it. "Turn around."

"And why?" I asked.

"Just turn around," nahihiya niyang sabi.

"Ang corny mo masyado," I told him and I can't help but smile looking at the whole team that's holding placards with letters on each. "Masyado ng gamit 'yan."

He shrugged. "Sorry, first timer, but I promise, super babawi ako sa second monthsary natin."

"Happy first monthsary!" sabay sabay na sigaw nila sa amin.

"May bayad 'to, hindi libre ang service fee namin," singit ni Kuya Diego.

Happy First Monthsary Ma'am Sabado

"I love you," he said.

I faced him as I wrinkled my nose and pinched his cheek. "Happy first monthsary, Sir Gerardo."

HAPPY 60k!!! THANK YOU ❤
I sometimes think I don't deserve all of you 😢
