I was in the library reading various kinds of books while spinning a pen on my right hand. I was bored, my team are doing their own thing again. Sighing, my eyes just continue reading the many words printed in the pages of the current book that I'm reading until a certain prodigy appeared beside me.
"Hey there, Y/N." Ruby nervously said while a sweat was visible on the side of her forehead.
"Do you need anything Rubes?" I said and gaze a her.
"Well, I was wondering um, if you would want the two of us spend time together today? Since you were just here in the library reading the whole time." She chuckles awkwardly.
"Okay, sure. I don't mind, I can just read this book again later." I stated then closed and placed the book back in its respective shelf.
The two of us walk our way out of the library, for some reason I could feel multiple eyes staring at us. This cause me to clear my throat and sweat as we hurriedly got out the place. I stop walking and so did Ruby, she looks at me.
"So where do you want to go?" I asked.
"Oh! I was thinking that we should go to town and visit a bakery, I was wondering what their cookies taste like." She said as she then started daydreaming.
"That sounds good, might as well treat you with those cookies." I smiled.
"What? Y-you don't have to you know." She said flustered.
"It's fine, after all I need to be a gentleman to a beautiful lady like you." I said.
"M-me? Beautiful?" She began to be deep in thought as her cheeks reddened.
"(She's cuter when she blush, I wish I can take a picture of it.)"
"Come on now, or we might ran out of those delicious cookies!" I said and began walking.
"Right!" She then follows me.
We got out of the school grounds and arrive at a bullhead, we entered inside and made our way to town. Once we finally got there, we got out of the airship and started walking on the sidewalk. The town was quiet peaceful, no crimes had occurred at the moment. I look at Ruby and see her turning around frequently, then she points at a direction causing me to look at where she's pointing.
"There! Let's go!" She happily said as she grabs my wrist and dragged me to the bakery.
We enter inside the place and hear a small bell chime. Multiple kinds of sweets and breads are all. Ruby had a face of excitement when we entered.
"Let have a look on them, remind me if there's something you want to buy." I said.
"Okay." She replied.
I began to look at the various kinds of sweets, all of them had designs and look delicious. I've decided to buy muffins since I haven't tasted it since a year ago. After buying it, I look at Ruby and saw her looking at me while pointing at the cookies. I bought those as well and gave it to her. A minute later, we got out of the bakery and began walking.
"So how's the cookies?" I ask taking a bite on my muffin.
"They're super good! Wanna try one?" She said holding out a cookie in front of me.
I hum in response and took a bite. The taste of it made me smile.
"They sure made it delicious. Now where do you think we should go next?" I asked.
"Maybe at the park?" She said.
"Sounds good, how far is it though?" I finished one muffin.
"I think it's not far from here, come one." She said.
