johnny handed felix his phone so that he could look for a song. sure, they didn't know each other for long, but johnny trusted felix, the small guy with the vibrant pink hair, already. enough to hand him his own phone, at least.

felix chose an instrumental track, no real lyrics in it, just very different beats and melodies. it went from calm to anticipating to exciting and full of adrenaline, just before stopping completely, cutting every string and pulling you out of the world of the music, johnny noted as he watched the guy dance.

felix, after handing the phone back to johnny, who had connected it to the loudspeakers in the room, had positioned himself in the middle of it and closed his eyes, waiting for the melody to begin playing.

the first beats began to play and felix started off slow, taking his time with his movements, but never losing energy. he moved up and down, from left to right, forwards and backwards, jumping, moving down to the ground. he never once opened his eyes, completely getting lost in the music; his very own personal space, his universe, his hideout.

he was able to completely forget about everything on his mind, his surroundings, issues, just focusing on the music and his movements. he poured all of his emotions into the performance, expressing himself to johnny, whose presence was long forgotten since he was so focused.

johnny, meanwhile, was completely awestruck. sure, he had seen a lot of people dance before, but none of them had ever managed to impress him that much in such a short amount of time.

he could sense what he wanted to express with his dance, seeing the power behind the moves, but also the gentleness and vulnerability that was felix lee. the guy was a mystery to johnny and he really wanted to decipher him, put every single one of felix's emotions into the words felix couldn't find.

he noticed how easily he could find words for felix and his abilities, whereas felix didn't seem to find any. johnny, on the other hand, wasn't good at expressing himself without words at all.

the music stopped playing, coming to an end rather abruptly, and felix opened his eyes, hooded over with emotions. wordlessly, he went over to johnny and sat down next to him.

"i'm impressed, really," johnny spoke up quietly, not wanting to disrupt the peace that had come over them. "i didn't know you were that great; i wonder how you can express yourself that good without any words. i definitely couldn't do it."

"well, you've found the main motto, it seems. dancing is not about impressing, it's about expressing. have that in mind and your dance will express everything you want it to show."

"that's very wise, coming from someone who doesn't like expressing themselves with words."

"well, i sure as hell haven't known you for long yet, but it seems you have already left an impact on me."

with that, felix stood up, waving to johnny while going towards the door.

"let's meet again soon, and then you can show me your world of words."

felix left.
