"so why did you order me here?" felix asked confusedly. he had run to the café since he definitely better than to let seungmin wait (he had done that mistake once and never again) and was standing outside of it, said guy by his side.

"we're going to talk to his friends now."

"wait, now?"

"yes, now."

with that, seungmin cut off their conversation and began waving as he saw two figures approaching the café, one with vibrant orange hair and the other with a huge sweater covering his already huge frame and round glasses, just as they had described themselves.

"hi, you're seungmin?" the taller guy asked. "my name is doyoung and this is taeyong," he introduced, gesturing to is friend, who nodded with a cute smile.

"yeah, that's me, nice to finally meet you. you don't mind i invited felix, too? i just asked him like 10 minutes ago."

"it's totally fine, we would've brought johnny as well, but he's having a class at the moment," taeyong explained. "let's go inside?"

as they all entered the café, doyoung overheard felix mumble something under his breath.

"so his name is johnny.."

doyoung spoke up, shocked, and maybe a bit too loud: "you didn't know his name before?!"

felix flinched a bit at the booming voice next to his ear, but nodded, confirming the statement.

"okay, we all knew johnny was a bit different before, but that's quite a lot," taeyong concluded, scratching his neck. "i'm going to get us something to drink, yeah?"

five minutes later, the four of them were sitting at a dark wooden table with lovely placed decorations on it in the corner of the café, steaming hot beverages in front of all of them. they chatted for a bit about this and that, before taeyong tried to lead the conversation to why seungmin had wanted them to meet up.

"well, it's about johnny, but i think you guys guessed that by now," he admitted sheepishly, the other two chuckling in an agreement.

"i just.. you know, all this pacing back and forth between the two of them without having any progress done is s bit frustrating for me, sorry, lix. i just want you to be happy," seungmin explained himself, directing the last part at his best friend, who was keeping his head down. "you've suffered so much already, i want you to be happy. you deserve it."

felix nodded, still not looking up, and didn't respond. his mind was going crazy with memories flooding in on him, and he couldn't bring himself to do anything but stare at the table. seungmin sensed it and slung an arm around felix's shoulders, knowing what was going on in his head.

he had been there the whole time of felix's suffering process, after all, and he wasn't planning on leaving anytime soon.

he just wanted his best friend to be completely happy for once.
