"The life in front of you
Is more important than
Life behind you!!"
- Joel OsteenThe morning sunlight coming through the gap between the curtains fell upon Haven's serene face.
Birds outside were chirping happily; while trying to peak through the windows as if they too wanted to see the serene face of the sleeping girl.
The light falling on her face irritated her.
She wanted to sleep more and never leave the soft fluffy cloud of the pillow, but she had to go with Grace outside today, so she slowly sat up, rubbing her eyes, and went to the bathroom to do her daily business.
After being ready, she stood near the window, watching the beautiful garden outside adorned with many beautiful flowers.
She wore a white skirt and white top with black stripes with pairing white flats.
A cool breeze was touching her face, and her hair was free; showing her long silky hairs.
She was thinking hard about the events that led her here and the future that beholds ahead.
Her trail of thoughts was interrupted by a knock on the door.
A voice came from another side,
"Haven, it's me Grace, Can I come in?"
Upon hearing Grace's voice, Haven hurriedly opened the door only to find Grace dressed elegantly in a denim shirt and white jeans with matching white sneakers.
Haven looked at her and greeted her with a brief smile.
On the other hand, Grace was in awe with the innocent beauty Haven radiated and spoke,
"Good morning, Haven. You look gorgeous today."
Upon hearing this, Haven's cheeks turned red as this was the first time someone complimented her.
Chuckling at Haven's red face, Grace said,
"Let's eat first, as you know. I'm rumbly in my tumbly."
So they went to the dining hall and ate their breakfast.
After finishing, Grace spoke,
"Come on, Haven, let's go shopping."
With that, Grace and Haven left for a tour of the pack in Grace's black Audi.
After half an hour ride, Grace finally parked her car in front of a massive mall with many clothes and other accessories on display.
Grace came out and directed Haven to come out too.
"Let the fun begin."
She exclaimed merrily.Grace bought almost everything for Haven that included dresses, skirts, tops, jeans, sneakers, flats, all types of heels, and every kind of jewelry she liked, and finally, after a tiresome shopping, they left after paying the bill.
Grace kept all the bags on the backseat and told Haven,
"Finally, it's over. Let's go eat something."
Grace then drove her car to Mc Donalds to fill their empty stomach.
"Here we come, our delicious food."
Upon reaching there, Grace said while rubbing her hands, and Haven followed her. They took a seat near the glass wall.
"For me, this is the best place here, giving us the full view of the restaurant."
