"Beta how could you let her fight alone and how can you even leave her alone in this condition?" The doctor inquired Ethan with a hint of accusation in his voice.

"What do you mean doctor?" Ethan asked with uncertainty in his voice.

As soon as he began explaining the reason behind asking him, he was cut off in the middle by Ethan who got concerned about his mate's health.

 "Beta Ethan I-"

"Is she okay? Does she have any serious injury?"

"No but-"

"Then what condition are you talking about?"

"I am trying to say-"

"She isn't okay is she? You were lying be-"

"Your mate is pregnant." 

The doctor sighed breathe of relief on finally letting out the news he was trying to tell for so long.

The moment the doctor said the words, Ethan's breath hitched while others gasped in shock. Even Haven felt her world crumbling down when she heard that news. Blood rushing down her stomach was all Haven could think of.

The mere thought of something happening to her unborn baby gave shivers to her body. She could not think apart from the fact that because of her not only Grace but her baby was put in danger.

"W-What?"  Ethan whispered in bewilderment

Seeing his surprise the doctor smiled at him and said

"Yes you heard me right beta Ethan, your mate is pregnant."

"My Grace is p-pregnant?"

"That's what I just said."

"How much t-time?"

"Approximately 3 weeks and before you ask me, let me tell you they are absolutely fine along with their mother."

"They?"

"Congratulations Beta Ethan, Moon goddess blessed you with twins."

Ethan could not stand on his feet any longer and he slumped down on the bench with thousands of things bombarding his head. He was elated at hearing the news, to know that he was going to be a father but he never imagined to hear this news in such kind of situation. 

While Ethan was busy in his thoughts Aaron took the opportunity and asked in excitement

"When can we meet her doctor?"

"We have put her in induced coma so that she could heal properly. Most probably she'll wake up by afternoon and then by evening we will discharge her if you want to."

"Thank you doctor. Thank you so much for saving them."

The doctor smiled at them and slightly bowed to show his respect towards them and walked away.

As soon as the doctor was about to disappear from their vision Devin abruptly ran and called out for the doctor.

"Wait doc."

Doctor halted in his step and turned to the voice and bowed when he saw who was coming towards him.

"Alpha Devin, how may I help you."

"Doc I just wanted to ask something."

To which he nodded at motioned him to ask.

"Grace was hit by a silver coated knife, it didn't harm the pups right?"
