Haven's Love

Chapter - 11

Haven couldn't breathe. She tried to console herself and badly wanted to stop herself from thinking about it, but the scene replayed again and again in front of her eyes as a broken record. She decided to compose herself and wiped her tears. Just as she was about to stand, she heard someone

"Boo"

The sound startled her. She slowly turned herself to see the face of the intruder. Fear was what she felt when she saw the intruder's face.

A wave of emotions passed through her eyes but one was dominant:fear. A chill ran down her spine, paralyzing her. Her painful past flooded her mind. Breathing became too hard and painful for her.

"Did I scare you little fairy?"

His voice was same as she remembered; sinister and wicked.

"Adnan"

She whispered almost as she couldn't believe that her tormentor, the one who tainted her soul was standing in front of her. At first she thought he was a part of her hallucination but hearing his voice again proved her wrong.

"Aww my little fairy remember my name. I thought maybe you would have forgotten all about me."

Cooed Adnan

Haven slowly backed away from him and tried to run but Adnan was faster than her. He grabbed her hand and laughed loudly.

"Did you already forget everything about me little one?"

Haven was struggling hard to get his hands off her. Seeing her futile attempt made him laugh.

"What's going on here?"

A powerful voice was heard which made Adnan to stop. Grace stood before them in all her glory with a very serious face. Haven had never seen her like this. She was always the bubbly one with a smile adorned on her face but this Grace was different from her. She was fierce and powerful.

"Don't you have eyes? Can't you see you are disturbing a very emotional reunion of two friends who has met after a very long time? Oh god it's so emotional and I didn't even bring tissues."

Adnan said in a dramatic tone and sniffled a little to add more effect.

"Haven,who is he?"

Grace ignored Adnan's snarky remark and asked Haven

"Haven who is he"

Mocked Adnan in a high pitched voice to mimic Grace's voice.

*Tsk Tsk*

Adnan again continued while shaking his head in negative,

"Haven,you didn't tell her about us?
Oh you have wound me so deep my little fairy. I don't think my poor heart can bear this pain anymore."

Adnan said in an exasperated tone.

"As much as I wanted to continue this longer but unfortunately we have somewhere to go."
