"The worst thing is when the nightmare isn't just a figment of imagination but
The reality in which one once lived."

Haven was in the kitchen preparing her breakfast.

For two days, since that night, she had her breakfast alone as everyone else was busy in the ongoing situation that was supposed to be in control but became worse; it was only her and her loneliness. She was curious about the matter.

Flashback:

Haven and Grace were seated in the garden with their random talks about the movie they saw in the afternoon when no one was around.

Grace was fangirling on the lead hero and was praising his good looks. While rambling, she abruptly stopped and, a frown marred her brows. She suddenly stood up,

"There is an emergency. I need to go now. You go inside and take rest."

"Is everything alright, Grace?"

Haven questioned.

"Don't worry; everything will be alright."

Since then, neither she heard any word nor saw anyone in the packhouse except the housekeepers.

Boredom became her acquaintance since she had absolutely nothing to do in the mansion.

But yesterday, she talked with one of the eldest housekeepers named Mary. She was a sweet lady with an adorable grandchild Krystal with whom Haven had a good time.

She was so engrossed in her cooking while thinking about all the events that she did not notice Eleanor leaning on the door until she cleared her throat,

"What are you doing here this early?"

Eleanor asked Haven while detaching herself from the door and walked towards Haven while curiously peeking at the large bowl with the batter.

"Uhm, I was just preparing breakfast."
Haven replied while stirring the batter.

"Need help in anything."
She said while tilting her head.

Haven was surprised to see Eleanor wanted to help her. She was not sure what can she do to help her as she usually cooked for herself alone.

"O-Okay. Can you please stir this for me?"

"Sure"

Haven gave the half stirred batter to Eleanor and proceeded to heat the pan.

"You know you could have told the chefs to do this instead of doing it alone."

"Y-Yeah, but I like to do cooking myself."

After this, they both fell into a comfortable silence and continued to do their work.

After few minutes, their pancakes were ready to be devoured by them.

"Do you know where honey syrup is?"

Haven asked while looking in the cabinets.

"Yeah, Wait."

Eleanor found the syrup and joined Haven on their breakfast table.

"So, you liking it here so far?"

Eleanor asked while pouring the syrup on her pancakes.

"It's nice here, I think."
