Chapter 5

"You know Mike, I'm glad we could spend this time together."

Mike put his arm around her and leaned down and kissed her on the cheek. "So am I."

They both walked up to the theatre only to realize they were all out of movie tickets. "Maybe we should have come here earlier."

"That's okay Mike. We'll go somewhere else."

They got back to the MonkeeMobile and Mike tried to start the car but Shaun put her hand on his stopping him. He turned to face him and she lightly kissed him. He didn't wait a second to deepen the kiss. It took a few minutes and they both drew back for air. "So, are we really doing this now?"

"If you want to."

"Oh really?" Mike said as he leaned in and kissed her roughly. He licked her lips asking for entrance, and she accepted. Their tongues fought for dominance but Mike eventually won. Mike ran his hands up and down her arms.

He pulled her onto his lap and kissed her hard as she straddled his lap. Shaun wrapped her arms around his neck as his hands roamed under her shirt.

"How about we finish this up later." Shaun suggested.

Mike nodded in agreement as she got off his lap. "Okay. Where to?"

"Hmm, how about to the beach."

"The beach is nice. Okay. We need to go home and change though."

"That's fine with me. You can drop me off at home and pick me up at about 2pm."

Mike checked his watch. "That's in a little over an hour. After the beach, I'll take you to dinner. What do ya say?"

"Its a date Mike."

He smiled as he started the car and drove out of the parking lot of the movie theatre. "So, what are you gonna wear?" Mike asked as he smiled and glanced at her, then back at the road.

"You'll find out soon enough loverboy."

"You know, I love it when you call me that." He smiled as he pulled in to her house.

"well, I'll see you in about an hour." Shaun said as she opened the car door.

Mike pulled her in to one last kiss. She patted his cheek lightly and he took that as a hint to let her go. "I'll see you soon my dear." He said.

"Yeah!" Shaun put her hand on his face. Then she got out of the car and went inside her house.

Mike sat in the driveway for a minute. I am a lucky man to have her. He thought.

Mike drove home and when he went inside, he had completely forgotten about the party that Micky planned. As he opened the door, he brought his hand to the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes as he shook his head.

Micky noticed Mike at the doorway and approached. "Hey. You're back early."

"Nah. I'm not stayin'. Me and Shaun are going down to the beach."

"Okay so I don't have to make anyone leave?"

Mike chuckled as he went upstairs and got into his beach clothes. The time was nearing 2 and Mike walked out the door.

He arrived at Shaun's house and walked up to her door and gave it a knock. Shaun came to the door a few minutes later. "Hey. Come on in." Shaun took Mike's hand and brought him inside. Out of nowhere, she pushed him to the wall and began to kiss him roughly.

Mike was shocked at first but then he wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her back. Once he pulled back, he said: "You missed me didn't you?"
