They had soon finished their gig and the manager gave them their pay for that evening. Mike got down from the stage as he put the pay in his pocket and approached Shaun.

"Hey loverboy."

"Hey princess." He said giving her a huge hug. He has never called her a princess so it made her feel great.

Shaun smiled at that name. "Happy its over?"

"Yeah. Until next week. Then its back to the nervousness." He said rolling his eyes. He really didn't mind the gigs. He just hates getting nervous at all his gigs. He wasn't sure if the other monkees got as nervous as he did though.

"Its okay Mike. I know you enjoy all the gigs you go to. You looked like you were having fun up there tonight."

"Well, I guess." He smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"Well, I guess the guys are ready to go home. That is, after they say goodbye to their girlfriends."

"Well, I gotta get going anyways." Shaun kissed Mike on the lips for a few minutes. After they released the kiss, she put her hands on his face. "I will see you tomorrow."

"Alright. I love you Shaun."

"I love you too Mike." She said as she gathered the girls and they left first. Then, the monkees grabbed their gear and went out to the MonkeeMobile and loaded up their gear.

They all piled in the car with Micky driving this time. The ride home was quiet. Each monkee were apparently thinking about what they were going to do with each of their girlfriends. Mike kept a smile on his face. He couldn't stop thinking about Shaun. He couldn't help it. He loved her.

They got home and each of them walked inside. They were all tired from their gig. They have been practicing all week to get it right and they find time to spend with their girlfriends so the only time they have to rest, is at the end of the day when it has quieted down for them.

Mike set his guitar down at the stage in their pad and went to the refrigerator to see if he could cook something up for the four of them.

"Anything good in there Mike?" Peter asked as he approached Mike from behind.

Mike jumped once he turned around and saw Peter only a few feet away from him. "Don't do that Peter. I thought you were way over there." He said pointing to behind the couch. "How did you get here so quickly?"

Peter's eyes were wide. "Uh, I walked here."

"Oh. Just, try not to come up behind me again."

"Okay. Sorry."

Mike shut the refrigerator and walked away. He wasn't really all too hungry. Just very tired.

"You not eating?"

"Nah. Not hungry."

"Then why were you looking in the refrigerator?"

"You know, I'm not sure. I guess its a habit ya know." He shrugged.

"Uh-huh. Well, that's strange. Even for you."

"I've always done it. Maybe you just haven't noticed it."

"Ey. Knock it off fellas. Leave Mike alone." Davy said defending Mike.

"Thanks Davy."

"Alright, I'm going up to bed. I will see you guys in the morning." Peter said waving at everyone and walking to his and Davy's room.

"Night Pete." The others said at the same time.

"I'm gonna crash too. See you all in the mornin'." Mike walked upstairs. Soon, Micky followed behind and went to bed as well. Davy stayed up for a bit because he wasn't tired. It was around 1am when he decided to head off to bed.
