Chapter 20

Micky arrived at the hospital and when he walked in, he saw Taylor and approached her. "Hey. How's she doing?"

"Not very good. We still haven't been able to get anything from her."

Micky nodded and walked in the room that Shaun was. He sat right next to her for a few minutes and she moved her head to look at him.

"Hey. You wanna talk?"

She didn't say a word as she continued to look at him.

"I'm sorry this happened to you." He said as he slowly took her hand and held it. Surprisingly, she let him and she squeezed his hand tightly. Then, Micky thought of a way to communicate with her.

"Hey, Shaun, I wanna ask you some yes and no questions. I want you to squeeze my hand once for yes and two for no. Think you can do that?"

She nodded slowly.

"Okay. The first question I wanna ask is: Do you know where Mike is?"

She squeezed his hand once.

"Alright. Is Mike in any kind of trouble?"

She once again squeezed his hand once. Then she spoke up softly: "All of you are."

"What? What do you mean all of us?"

"One of you found out about an operation. They never told me what it was. Since they have Mike, they didn't need me anymore. They only got me to get to him." She said almost in a whisper.

"Okay, would you happen to know where Mike is?"

"No. They had me blindfolded. Get him back Micky. They'll hurt him." Her eyes began to tear up.

"Don't worry Shaun. We'll find him. You need to rest now."

She nodded and turned her attention to the window as she stared out the window. Micky patted her hand as he stood up and left the room.

"Hey, I got her to speak."

"What'd she say?"

"We're all in trouble. They already have Mike. She told us that we need to find him quick."

"Okay. We'll find him. Did she give you any information on his location?"

"That would be a no. They had her blindfolded so she didn't see a thing."

"Okay. Wait, where are the other two?"

"Ooh. About that. They are waiting for Mike to go home. I guess I better tell them. Listen, you stay here with Shaun. Me and the guys will look for Mike."

"Okay. Oh and Micky, be careful." She gave him a kiss.

"Don't worry. I will." He took off out the hospital doors.

Once home, Davy was the first one to speak. "How is she?"

"She told me that Mike isn't coming back."

"What do you mean Micky?" Peter asked.

"I mean they have him. Whoever attacked Shaun, has Mike and wants to get to all of us."

"Why?"

"I don't know. Something about an operation that they think we know about. Do you two have any idea what this operation is?"

"No. Maybe they have the wrong guys."

"Yeah. That' what I'm thinking. But Shaun told me they were gonna hurt Mike if we don't find him."

"Okay. Where do we look?"

"No idea."
