Battle Ox Turn 1: Battle Ox Normal Summons himself(Battle Ox) (1700/1000) in Attack mode.

# 96 Turn 2: # 96 Normal Summons Malicevorous Spoon (100/500) in Attack mode. # 96 then Special Summons Malicevorous Fork (400/400) in Attack mode via its own effect by sending Malicevorous Knife (a Malicevorous monster) from his hand to the GY. As a Malicevorous monster was Special Summoned, # 96 activates the effect of Malicevorous Spoon to revive Malicevorous Knife (600/100) (a LV 2 or lower Malicevorous monster) in Attack mode. # 96 overlays Malicevorous Spoon, Fork, and Knife in order to Xyz Summon Number 96: Dark Mist (100/1000) in Attack mode. Dark Mist attacks Battle Ox, with # 96 activating Dark Mist's effect, detaching an Overlay Unit to halve the attack of Battle Ox and have Dark Mist gain the same amount of attack (Battle Ox: 1700 -> 850; Dark Mist: 100 -> 950). Battle Ox is destroyed (Battle Ox LP: 4000 -> 3900).

Battle Ox Turn 3: Battle Ox Normal Summons Enraged Battle Ox (1700/1000) in Attack mode. He then activates Monster Reborn to Special Summon Malicevorous Spoon in Attack mode from # 96's GY. Battle Ox activates Falling Current, which allows him to change a monster he controls LV to 1, 2, or 3. He changes Enraged Battle Ox's LV to 2 (LV: 4 -> 2). Battle Ox overlays Enraged Battle Ox and Malicevorous Spoon in order to Xyz Summon Number 65: Djinn Buster (1300/0) in Attack mode. Djinn Buster attacks Dark Mist. # 96 tries to activate Dark Mist's effect, but Battle Ox activates the effect of Djinn Buster, by detaching an Overlay Unit to negate the effect of Dark Mist and inflict 500 damage to # 96 (# 96 LP: 4000 -> 3500). Djinn Buster then destroys Dark Mist (# 96 LP: 3500 -> 3150).

# 96 Turn 4: # 96 Normal Summons a 2nd Malicevorous Knife in Attack mode. As it was Normal Summoned, # 96 activates the effect of Malicevorous Knife to Special Summon his 1st Malicevorous Knife (a Malicevorous monster) from his GY in Attack mode. He then activates Creature Swap, now both players chose one monster to swap with their opponent. # 96 gets Djinn Buster and Battle Ox gets one of the Knife's. # 96 activates Monster Reborn to Special Summon Dark Mist in Attack mode from his GY. He then activates Xyz Treasure to draw 2 cards (one for each Xyz Monster on the field). # 96 activates Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force to Rank-Up Djinn Buster via Chaos Xyz Evolution in order to Xyz Summon Chaos Number 65: King Overfiend (1600/0) in Attack mode. Due to the 2nd effect of King Overfiend, all Effect Monsters Battle Ox controls have their effects negated and their effects can't be activated. # 96 activates the 3rd effect of King Overfiend to detach a Chaos Overlay Unit and reduce the attack and defense of Knife by 1000 (600/100 -> 0/0). Dark Mist destroys Knife (Battle Ox LP: 3900 -> 3800). Knife and King Overfiend attack directly (Battle Ox LP: 3800 -> 1600). # 96 sets a card.

Battle Ox Turn 5: Battle Ox activates Silent Doom to Special Summon Battle Ox (a Normal monster) in Defensive mode from his GY. He then activates Double Spell to discard a Spell from his hand to the GY to activates one of # 96's Spell cards from # 96's GY as if it were his. Battle Ox activates Creature Swap. Battle Ox gets King Overfiend and # 96 gets Battle Ox. # 96 activates his face down Number Lockdown by targeting King Overfiend (a Number monster). Due to Number Lockdown, the effects of the targeted monster are negated and it can't attack. Also during the End Phase, the targeted monster will be destroyed and Battle Ox will take damage equal to its attack. Battle Ox ends his turn, so King Overfiend is destroyed (Battle Ox LP: 1600 -> 0). # 96 wins.
