Student Turn 1: The Student Normal Summons Fire Princess (1300/1500) in Attack mode. He then activates Dian Keto the Cure Master, to gain 1000 LP (Student LP: 4000 -> 5000).

Since the Student gained LP, the effect of Fire Princess activates, inflicting 500 damage to Bastion (Bastion LP: 4000 -> 3500). The Student sets a card.

Bastion Turn 2: Bastion Normal Summons Magnet Warrior Σ+(1800/1500) in Attack mode. The Student activates his face down Continuous Trap Backfire. Due to the effect of Backfire, Bastion will take 500 damage when he destroys a FIRE monster his opponent controls and sends it to the GY. Magnet Warrior Σ+attacks and destroys Fire Princess (Student LP: 5000 -> 4500) (Bastion LP: 3500 -> 3000). Bastion sets a card.

Student Turn 3: The Student activates Pot of Greed to draw two cards. He then Normal Summons Blue Flame Swordsman (1800/1600) in Attack mode. He then activates Salamandra and Equips it to Blue Flame Swordsman, increasing its attack by 700 (1800 -> 2500). Blue Flame Swordsman attacks Magnet Warrior Σ+, but Bastion activates his face down Threatening Roar to prevent the Student from attacking this turn. The Student sets a card.

Bastion Turn 4: Bastion Normal Summons Magnet Warrior Ω-(1900/600) in Attack mode. He then activates Heavy Storm to destroy all Spell and Trap Cards on the field, but the Student activates his face down Imperial Custom, which prevents other Continuous Traps from being destroyed. Thus, Backfire is not destroyed with the rest of the Spells and Traps (Blue Flame Swordsman: 2500 -> 1800). Magnet Warrior Σ+attacks Blue Flame Swordsman, causing both monsters to be destroyed in a Double KO (Bastion LP: 3000 -> 2500). Since Blue Flame Swordsman was destroyed and sent to the GY, the Student activates its second effect to Special Summon Flame Swordsman (1800/1600) in Defensive mode. Magnet Warrior Ω-attacks and destroys Flame Swordsman (Bastion LP: 2500 -> 2000). Bastion sets two cards.

Student Turn 5: The Student activates Monster Reborn, Special Summoning Flame Swordsman from his GY in Attack mode. He then sets a card and activates Card of Sanctity to let both players draw until they have six cards in their hand (The Student draws six and Bastion draws five). The Student activates Spell Reproduction to discard two Spell Cards and add Salamandra from her GY to his hand. He then activates Salamandra and Equips it to Flame Swordsman (1800 -> 2500). The Student Normal Summons Familiar-Possessed - Hiita (1850/1500) in Attack mode. Flame Swordsman attacks Magnet Warrior Ω-, but Bastion activates his face down Ring of Destruction to destroy Flame Swordsman and inflict its attack as damage to both players. Bastion then activates his face down Ring of Defense to prevent himself from taking the damage inflicted by Ring of Destruction. (Student LP: 4500 -> 2000; Bastion LP: 2000 -> 1500). The Student activates Tremendous Fire to inflict 1000 damage to Bastion (Bastion LP: 1500 -> 500) and 500 damage to himself (Student LP: 2000 -> 1500). He then sets a card.

Bastion Turn 6: Bastion activates Stim-Pack, Equipping it to Magnet Warrior Ω- and increasing its attack by 700 (1900 -> 2600). He then activates Axe of Despair, Equipping it to Magnet Warrior Ω-, increasing its attack by 1000 (2600 -> 3600). Magnet Warrior Ω-attacks Little Chimera, but the Student activates his face down Mirror Force to destroy Magnet Warrior Ω-. Bastion sets a card.

Student Turn 7: The Student Normal Summons Little Chimera (600/550) in Defensive mode. Due to the effect of Little Chimera, the attack of all FIRE monsters increases by 500 and the attack of all WATER monsters decreases by 400 (Familiar-Possessed - Hiita: 1850 -> 2350; Little Chimera: 600 -> 1100). Familiar-Possessed - Hiita attacks directly, but Bastion activates his face down Negate Attack to negate the attack and end the Battle Phase. The Student activates Molten Destruction. Now the attack of all FIRE monsters increases by 500 while their defense decreases by 400 (Familiar-Possessed - Hiita: 2350/1500 -> 2850/1100; Little Chimera: 1100/550 -> 1600/150).

Bastion Turn 8: Bastion draws Litmus Doom Ritual and subsequently activates it to Tribute the Water Dragon in his hand in order to Ritual Summon Litmus Doom Swordsman (0/0) in Attack mode. Due to the effect of Litmus Doom Swordsman, it gains 3000 attack as there is a face up Trap Card on the field (0 -> 3000). Bastion then Tributes Litmus Doom Swordsman in order to Special Summon Plasma Warrior Eitom (3000/2500) in Attack mode. Bastion activates the effect of Eitom to halve its attack until the End Phase and allow it to attack directly this turn. Plasma Warrior Eitom attacks directly (Student LP: 1500 -> 0). Bastion wins.

(Next Chapter will be the last Duel from this series and it's a bit of a big one in terms of length, but I don't want to give too much away, so you'll have to see just what exactly this last special off-screen Duel event will be).
