No word had ever made Nat so happy. She could feel it, exploding in her veins, intoxicating her.
"I was hoping you'd say that."
"What could ever make you think I'd say anything else? I love you."
"I love you too."
She took Wanda in her arms, kissing her, feeling her heart pound against her chest, it wasn't the first time, and something told her it wasn't the last, but it was different, electric, amazing.
They finally pulled apart, and stood there a second, in quiet, their foreheads touching.
"I love you more than anything in this world, Wanda Maximoff."
"I love you more, Tasha, I love you more."
"Impossible."
"Very much possible."
"If we go down this road, we're never gonna make it to the next part of your surprise."
"The next part?"
"The next part."
"Well, and to think, I thought you'd forgotten."
"Only the best for the love of my life."
This incited a giggle from Wanda, girlish and giddy, and Nat knew she'd do anything to keep Wanda this happy for the rest of her life.
