"Yeah?"
"Yeah. Tasha, I don't want to wait either, let's go get married."
So they did.
Tasha changed into her black dress (that Wanda totally thought was the hottest article of clothing she owned) and Wanda just went in one of her flowery sundresses. It wasn't a big thing, they didn't invite anyone, it was a spur of the moment I want you in my life officially forever type thing.
Neither of them could've possibly been more elated afterwards.
No one could've possibly been more elated afterwards.
Because they were married, but they weren't happy because they married each other, they were happy because they married each other.
Tasha curled up next to Wanda on the couch, running her fingers through her hair, humming softly, and Wanda was curled into Tasha, twisting the ring on her finger and just reliving the last hour of their lives all over again.
When they first met, Tasha was just another person, another spirit, granted, one that Wanda found insanely attractive, but nonetheless it didn't seem like their lives would entangle much.
Then, they'd gotten closer, they went on a few dates, Wanda woke up to Tasha sobbing one night, at four in the morning, and hugged her, and Tasha broke, and told her a lot of stuff, through tearful mumbles and sniffles, and after she seemed lighter, but Wanda had to promise not to tell because it all made her feel awful and she just had to tell someone else but she didn't want everyone to know.
And then there was- there was the darker period for Tasha, full of late nights and conversations and some things she wasn't in time to stop.
And the night Wanda had her first heart-breaking-panic-attack-inducing nightmare in the same bed as Tasha, and this time she broke down, crying and telling her everything about Pietro and Sokovia and the Red Room and just spent ages crying into her chest, and breathing her smell and trying to calm down.
Now they were here, happy, and fitting together like some magical cosmic powers has created them to be together and fill each other's cracks with gold to try and show the other how beautiful something broken can still be.
They were family, each other's present and future.
They were sitting together on a couch in a fortress tower, in New York, a tiny tiny speck in the grand scheme of things, but in that moment, in that instant, to each other they were the most important beings in the universe for the rest of time, because no other person could ever be more important and amazing and could ever fill them with as much love as their wife.
And the best part was, their story wasn't over yet.
A/N: yikes this sounds like an ending, but is it?? Idk, maybe not. But this is really to say thank you. My writing isn't great (don't lie) and this fic has 5k reads holy cow thanks guys! Writing helps me think and calm down so I might not stop this, I'm definitely going to introduce more of the avengers and stuff, idk why I didn't before, and maybe,,,, one OC but they're cool I swear, and uhhhh jusst thanks again cause I seriously didn't expect this holy cow and take care of yourselves because that's important and worth saying and I'm just kinda rambling now sorry anyway let me know if you want more chapters or not cause either way, this has gone pretty far and I accidentally wrote a really good ending type chapter, welp that's what I get for trying to be deep. You think it gets easier when you have someone you care about like that but it's actually way harder cause if I try to imagine them I'll actually end up writing to them, and I'm not gonna lie I accidentally did in a couple parts, whoops, that's my fault for pretending I'm the romantic type, wow this is long I'm sorry, the moral of the story is you guys are awesome thank you and take care!!!!!!!
xoxo, Micha <3~~~~
