Wanda knew that there were red tendrils of magic around them, it always happened when she was flustered, and Natasha, beautiful, wonderful Natasha, she always knew how to make her flustered.

She felt Natasha's cracked but not dry lips, she could feel her heart beating in her throat. She felt Tasha's tongue against her slightly parted lips.

She wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her closer. Her hair tickled her face.

Two seconds hesitation, then barely audible, a small mumble against her lips.

"I love you."

Wanda felt Natasha smile into the kiss.

Then Clint walked in and they nearly jumped apart.

Natasha sighed, "Jeez Barton, knock every once in a while, will you?"

Clint smirked, just a small twitch in the corner of his mouth, "Well, I could, or I could get to see that look on your face... and yeah, I'm gonna go with the 'being able to see an embarrassed Nat' option, but thanks."

Natasha picked up a knife from the dresser and hurled it at him, just as he was closing the door.

It clattered against the metal.

Tasha sighed, exasperated. She mumbled something under her breath before Wanda hugged her back to herself.

She kissed her again, softer this time. Tilting her chin up to meet her lips. They melted into each other, into the kiss.

She took a hand and gently ran her fingers under her sleeves, feeling the half-scabbed over  cuts with the welts around them.

Tasha winced.

"I- Sorry.." Wanda fumbled over her words. Of all the people to cause Natasha pain...
