Mean Girls

Me and Riley sat on roof watching all the cars pass by on the street below. She sat there silently playing with her food.

"Riley you have to eat" I said softly "You don't have to eat all of it, but at least some of it."

"I guess" she said barley audible.

I put my hand on her knee and rested it there rubbing my thumb against her jeans. "While we eat let's talk about how beautiful it is up here" I suggested, trying to distract her.

"It's always so calming. I love being here with you" she said smiling.

My heart began to pick up its pace at her comment. "Yeah me to" I smiled.

I saw her smiling as she picked up a French fry and ate it. I was proud of her for trying. But, I was wondering if the reason why she was trying was only because of me.
During lunch I was able to distract Riley enough for her to finish almost half of her meal. Her smile faded as she realized everything she just ate. I gently reached out my hand turned her head so she was facing me. I leaned in close looking deep into brown eyes.

"Riley Mathews, you are perfect. Every inch of you. Every detail. Every part of you is perfect. You are perfection. You don't need to throw up after this. You don't need to hate your self for this. Your too beautiful to go through that pain. It hurts me seeing you like this because you deserve so much more. I want you to have to that. I'll do anything for you to have that." I told her beginning to get a little teary eyed.

Everything I had just said to her was true. The love I felt for her is to strong to even explain. I could see something happen in Riley's eyes. I didn't know it was, but something happened inside her head, and I hoped it was good. Her face had changed from sadness to a soft surprised look. As if we were both magnets our faces were being pulled towards each other. Inch by inch I just wanted to crash my lips into hers. I could feel my heart heavily beat against my chest. My eyes lingered on her lips for a second before I closed the gap between us. But, right before I could reach her lips Riley quickly looked away and began gathering her stuff. What was she doing? Did I do something wrong? Did she realize that I wasn't worth her time? That kissing me would be a mistake?

"I-I should go be for class starts" She stuttered standing up and rushing towards the exit.

"Riley wait!" I quickly stood up grabbing her hand spinning her around pulling her close to me. "Why did you turn away" I asked seeing the blush form on her cheeks.

"I w-was scared I'd mess up."

"Don't be scared hun, I'v got you" I said softly before I connected our lips.

I felt fire works explode inside me instantly. I thought Riley would pull away after one kiss, but she didn't. I was surprised, but deepened the kiss by snaking my hand around her waist to bring her closer to me. Her lips were soft and tasted like sweet coconut. I honestly couldn't get enough of it. I wanted to keep kissing her till both our lips fell off, but I didn't want her late to class. I slowly pulled away catching my breath as she didn't the same. Both our faces were red from what had just happened.

"Your a really good kisser Maya" she said in a sweet tone looking awkward.

"Your not bad either" I arched a brow "for a beginner."

"Maya!" Riley said playfully hitting the side of my arm.

"I'm kidding! Your kiss is like a drug honestly" I laughed "now I'll walk you to your class."

I took my hands away from her slim waist and rushed to open the hatch on the roof for her. "Ladies first."

Riley roller her eyes smirking at me as she made her way down the ladder.

I walked Riley to her class and we said our good byes until later today. Right as she left my presence the feeling happiness had left my body which was now consumed by dread and sadness. I headed back to class with my head down letting the thoughts pick away at me.

"Well, look who it is" I heard a girls voice ring through the hall way.

I looked up seeing the three girls from the other day standing in front of me, blocking me from heading any further down the hall. I rolled my eyes in annoyance.

"I thought I saw your fake ass walking Riley to class" she continued walking closer to me with the other two following behind.

"If I didn't know any better I'd think the new girl has a thing for Mr. Mathew's daughter" the black haired girl smirked.

"My names Maya" I gritted.

"Great! This is my Chloe" she pointed to the curly haired girl. "This is Camille" she pointed to the black haired girl. "I'm Kacey, but I think we will call you dyke" she said whispering the last word.

I closed the gap between me and Kacey looking her dead in the eyes. "Watch your mouth you privileged little brat" I gritted daring her to challenge me.

"We don't like dykes here. You know what we do to dykes here?" Kacey grinned emphasizing every time she said the word dyke.

"I'm not scared of your or little posse" I smirked.

"Oh but you will be. Get her girls" she said.

Before I knew it I felt my hair get yanked with the same force my mom used when I was younger. I couldn't move, I was to consumed by flash backs of my childhood running through my mind. I felt a fist connect with my jaw which shook me back into reality. I was thrown on the floor and kicked hard in the stomach by Chloe as the other two watched. I curled up in a ball wrapping my hands over my stomach to protect my self from anymore harm. I looked up seeing them devilishly smile at me.

"I think we're done here girls" Kacey said with pride.

"Fuck you" I managed breathed out.

Her smile faded and I saw her foot fly towards my stomach again. I tightened my arms around my stomach closing my eyes as I received another kick.

"Keep it up and there will more where that came from" she laughed strutting away with her friends.

I laid there for a second still absorbing all the pain. I have to get out of here before someone sees me. I have no other choice but to go home. I slowly got up wincing at the pain I felt as I tried to stand. I quickly limped out the door and rushed towards my house.

AAAAH THEY KISSED! I got so exited writing this chapter! I have a lot planned for this book and the second book. It's gonna be a doozie y'all! Also please let me know if you find books with lots of chapter boring or not because I don't want to make the book to long. If so I'll write longer chapters to shorten the book if you all like! Also thank you @JoshayaSparkles for helping me with idea for this story! I have some idea coming soon in the next chapter or so after sorting out some other parts of the book!Thank you for the 2K!
