Chapter 10

It had been a couple of weeks and tomorrow night was the art show and also soon Ashton would be handing in his art project soon and Luke, Calum and Michael have been telling me how his art project is and keep telling me to go shopping for an outfit for the date maybe I wanted to go on this date because these last couple of weeks getting to know Ashton I don’t know how to explain it his can be confusing, I mean at one point his this down to earth kid but once you see him at a party his a dick.

I was sitting with Jenna when it came to our break; Jenna was busy drafting an essay that was due next for her. Chayce has been visiting a lot lately and all three of us have become best friends which is great. Jenna’s phone kept ringing but she ignored it

“Are you going to answer that”? I asked her, she looked at her phone rolling her eyes

“No it’s just Chayce I’ll tell him I was in class”

“Don’t you normally answer his calls”? Jenna put her pen down looking up at me

“His been calling me basically every hour this week and I don’t know what’s wrong with him, I’ll talk to him later”

“Alright then”

“Hello ladies” said Ashton taking a seat next to me smirking like always whenever he comes to talk to me.  

“What now Ashton and stop smirking like that it’s creeping me out”

“Well I just want to say you and me Friday night be ready by 7 wear something comfortable” I looked at Ashton laughing why was he telling me this and he was still smirking “By the way I thought I would show you this” Ashton got out a piece of paper and on that piece of paper was a big fat red A + and my smile dropped.

“Shit” I said

“I can’t wait till Friday” Ashton got up walking away and I looked at Jenna who was smirking as well

“Don’t you dare say anything” I said pointing at her with a serious look, she did an evil grin and did the Mr. Burns hand thing when he says excellent but instead she said

“And the plot thickens”

I was on Skype later that night talking to Patrick he was telling me about his day what he did at primary school, mum called Patrick to go get dressed for bed while mum talked to me. Patrick went of screen and mum soon appeared.

“Hey mum”

“Honey we need to talk about Patrick”

“What’s going on”?

“I’ve been needing to tell you but never got the time but listen Patrick hasn’t been his self lately once again he punched a kid today and his been getting bullied a lot” I didn’t like hearing that Patrick was my best friend and he meant a lot to me, Patrick was a bad kid when he was growing up but he changed but since I’m gone I don’t know what to do.

“Just tell Patrick I love him very much and to ignore them all also tell him in about two weeks we are having a family day and you guys can come if you want too just tell him that I’m still here for him”

“Mummy can I say goodnight to Shannon” mum nodded and Patrick came on the screen and said goodnight to me. The worst thing about being an older sibling is not being there for your younger siblings even when they need you most.

“I love you Patrick and I miss you”

“I miss you as well” we soon disconnected and I was getting worried about my brother his a sweet kid but some people don’t give him a chance, I mean sure his 12 and kids these days pretend to be older than 12 but Patrick acts like a kid he still reads kid books and he doesn’t care. I just miss my family and wish that I was there when he needed me.

Looks like she's going on that date and it's going to be a pretty epic date and plus sorry if you thought the last part was boring I wanted to include her family in it as well so it's not just her and Ashton and then her and Jenna or her and I don't know but I hope you like it so far :)
