"Have you ever watched a leaf leave a tree? It falls upward first, and then it drifts toward the ground, just as I find myself drifting towards you."- Beth Kephart

"Brandon?"
"Jack? Liam? What are you doing with her?" growled Brandon. Brandon felt disappointed as he saw both Jack and Liam standing with Crystal Lee.
"Hey, Brandon, you don't have to do this," Liam tried persuading his Alpha.
"Her family is what cursed us," Brandon pointed to Crystal. "How can you protect her?" questioned Brandon.
"Look, Crystal didn't even know about the supernatural until two days ago, let alone the werewolf curse," Jack stepped in trying to stop Brandon. "And are you really going to kill a freaking teenager?" asked Jack as he tilted his head to the side.
Crystal stood there her hands trembling in fear. Someone is trying to kill me, she thought. Another thing that struck her was that Jack was defending her.
"Look I know that you suffer every full moon, but I'm gonna find a way to reverse the spell my grandmother put on you, okay?" Crystal tried to reason with Brandon. "No one has to die."
"Come on Brandon, we don't want to start a war here if you kill her, then that means you start a war with the witches," Jack told his Alpha, knowing that he would give in. If Jack knew something about his alpha it's that Brandon despised the witches, and starting a war with them means losing his pack, which is something Brandon tried to avoid.
Brandon growled before his claws changed back to his normal nails and his fangs retreated back to his natural teeth.
"Fine," he growled.
The group all let out a sigh of relief. The teens all got back in their cars as they made their way to Crystal's house. However, a thought passed through Liam and Jack's mind, This was too easy.
Crystal laid on her bed with Jack laying next to her. "Jack, I wanted to ask you something?" she asked Jack
"You just did," sassed Jack with a smirk on his face.
"No, I mean what does me dying to have to do with your werewolf curse?" Crystal asked him. The Lee girl had been to asking him that question since she found out.
"When Grancy put the curse that created the werewolves, nature had to do find a balance, and it was that the firstborn witch from your bloodline after your grandmother has to be sacrificed, everyone thought your mother was the one that would be sacrificed, but then they found out that your mother wasn't a witch, so that left you," explained Jack.
Crystal glanced at him conflicted. "How am I supposed to undo the werewolf curse, if I can barely even do magic?" she asked him.
"Well you were able to break my legs," Jack stated, as he recalled the time to when Crystal used her magic on him.
"Are you ever gonna let that go?" Crystal shook her head with a small smile at the corner of her lips.
"Aww look at them, they look so cute," Avery muttered as she pointed to the two teens on the bed. Liam shook his head at his crush as they stood at the door of Crystal's room.
"Shut up!" Jack and Crystal;l synced.
Jack sighed, before going back to his conversation with Crystal, "I know a witch, she will help teach you magic."
Crystal suddenly felt lightheaded, she closed her eyes and shouted, "I'm gonna sleep, you can all crash here,"
Crystal heard them all leaving the room, and just as she was about to fall into a deep sleep, the Lee girl felt someone kiss her head, and whisper, "Goodnight my love."
Waking up the next morning, Crystal heard noises, she groaned before finally getting up and going to the kitchen to see what all the fuss was about.
"Guys, can you stop with the noise, I'm really dizzy," Crystal grumbled as she clutched her head.
In the kitchen they were all eating something, Avery had her head in a bag of chips, Liam was munching on a granola bar, and Jack was chewing on an apple.
Crystal went over to Jack grabbed the apple from his hand and continued to eat it.
Suddenly Crystal's head started hurting and she felt extremely lightheaded, Crystal grabbed on to the kitchen counter to support her body.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Jack asked her as his eyes shined concern.
Crystal just replied with a groan and clutched her head tightly. Crystal started coughing really loudly before her eyes fell shut and she felt herself fall into someone's arms.
