"Just thinking about you brings a smile to face, a twinkle to my eye, and a skipped beat to my heart."- Ash Sweeney

"Crystal?" Crystal faintly heard someone ask.
Crystal groaned in response.
"Omg, thank god, you're okay," Jack sighed in relief as he watched Crystal regain consciousness.
Crystal looked up to see it was Jack talking to her, with Avery and Liam standing right behind him.
"Where am I?" Crystal groaned out as she looked at her surroundings.
"You're in your room," Avery replied to her friend's question.
"What happened Crystal?" Jack asked his voice filled with concern for his recent crush.
Crystal paused for a second, wondering how she should answer to Jack's question, before finally replying with, "I don't know."
Jack sighed before helping Crystal stand up.
"Uhh, we'll leave you alone," Avery said she pulled Liam out of the room with her.
On her way out of the room, Avery winked at Crystal.
Jack and Crystal sat there in silence before, Crystal decided to break it, "Have you ever thought of control?"
"What?" Jack asked confused.
"You said that on full moons you lose control and kill anyone you see," Crystal stated. "So, have you ever thought of learning control?"
"Well now that you mention it..." he trailed while looking at her curiously.
"Well, then come on," Crystal said pulling Jack by his hand of her bed, out of the house and into his Porsche.
"Where are we going?" Jack asked as Crystal drove his Porsche out of her driveway.
"You'll see," Crystal replied to his question with a smirk on her face.
Crystal continued driving before parking in the same spot Avery parked in when they were spying on Jack and Liam.
Crystal dragged him out of the car and into the cabin and pulled him down to the red door.
"What are we doing here?"
"I'm going to help you learn control," Crystal answered with a soft smile on her face. "Now get angry," she ordered.
"I don't get angry," Jack shrugged as he put his hands in his pockets.
"Oh, of course," Crystal scoffed as an idea popped into her head. "You act like you don't care about anything because you hide behind your dumb black Porsche acting all snobby and fearless, well guess what Jack, you're not fearless. If anything the fearless one of you is Liam, god he is hot." Crystal immediately regretted saying that as she saw the look on Jack's face.
He was hurt, but he didn't show that to her, instead, Jack growled as his eyes glowed their bright amber color.
"Ok now, try to control yourself," Crystal instructed, but it was useless. Jack had already shifted and was snarling at Crystal.
"I can't," Jack snarled as he kept taking little steps towards her, Crystal gasped as her back hit the stone wall. Jack smirked as he had finally cornered her, right then Crystal knew that she was definitely screwed.
"Hey, calm down" Crystal tried to calm him, but her attempts were useless.
"Run," he growled not wanting to hurt her, but Crystal stayed planted to her spot. The girl tried thinking of anything to help get him to calm down, so she took a few steps towards him, now only inches separated the space between them.
Crystal stared into his glowing amber eyes, gathering enough courage, Crystal leaned in closer to him, his lips mere inches away. Crystal closed her eyes as his lips brushed her own, and Crystal deepened the kiss. Crystal can feel Jack relax under her touch. Jack delicately traced every feature of her face with the back of his thumb as Crystal wrapped her arms around his neck.
Crystal finally snapped of it and pulled away as it dawned on her what she had just done, "I have to go." And just like that, she ran out of that room, like the first time she and Avery came here.
Crystal walked all the way home since she didn't have a car, and when she finally got back home she was exhausted.
Crystal went up to her room and called Avery.
Fifteen minutes later, Avery was sitting in Crystal's room listening to her as she explained all that happened with her and Jack.
"OH MY GOD! YOU GUYS KISSED?!" Avery squealed overly excited, causing Crystal to nod as she blushed.
"But was it really necessary to run away," Avery asked.
"I like him, okay? " Crystal admitted for the first time. "I've never liked anyone like that before".
"God, I didn't know what to do," Crystal sighed as she rand a hand through her hair, a nervous habit of hers.
Both girls sat there in silence for a while. Crystal then thought back to what had happened this morning, and immediately felt guilty for not telling her best friend.
"Avery, This morning when I fainted, I lied and I need to tell you the truth."
