Crystal opened her eyes and glanced around her. The place was unfamiliar, Crystal noticed that she was in a somewhat forest, by all the trees and grass surrounding her. Crystal found a bag under a tree and walked over to it. She grabbed the bag and looked through it. Confusion filled through her when she saw that the bag had a big brown leather book. There was no title to the book. Crystal skimmed the pages and realized that it was a book that had all the supernatural creatures, with their strengths and weaknesses. The teen put the book back in the bag and carried the bag on her shoulder.

Suddenly a twig snapped. "Crystal," she heard a very familiar voice call her name.

Crystal turned around to see who it was, and was shocked to see, "Grandma??"

"Hello Crystal," said the teen's grandmother.

"Where am I?" Crystal asked as observed her surrounding.

"We're in your mind,"  Grancy replied with an authoritative tone.

"What?" Confusion and shock that was all Crystal felt.

"It was the only way I could talk to you and help you with your magic," said Grancy.

"My magic? What's wrong with it?" Crystal asked with concern in her voice.

"Our bloodline is very powerful Crystal," Grancy warned her granddaughter.

Crystal just stared at her blankly, waiting for her grandmother to do something.

"See that tree," Grancy pointed to a tree in front of them. Crystal nodded. "I want you to light it on fire."

The brunette stared at her grandmother dumbly. "How?"

"All you have to do is picture the tree on fire and it will just happen," Grancy told her granddaughter.

Crystal looked at the tree, closed her eyes and pictured the tree in flames.  Crystal opened her eyes to see nothing has happened.

Crystal repeated the process again, but still, the tree stood tall.

"Hey, close your eyes take a deep breath and clear your head," advised her grandmother.

Crystal did it again. She closed her eyes, cleared her head and pictured the tree all up in flames. Crystal opened her eyes to see the tree on fire, falling and crashing to the ground.

Crystal grinned before looking at her grandmother who had a proud smile on her face.

"I did it!!!" she exclaimed.

"See it's easy, just don't think too much about it." Grancy shrugged. Crystal nodded.

"I need to tell you something, dear," Grancy said sternly, now looking serious. Crystal gave her a sign to continue.

"The werewolf curse, it can't be undone, there is no spell that possibly undo what I did, not even your death, so if they do sacrifice you, the curse won't go."

"What?" Crystal asked flooded with confusion.

"I have to go, but just remember what I said."

And just like that, Crystal eyes snapped wide open.
