Our future? (Subaru x Yume)

Yume Pov
I was taking my morning run when someone started calling my name. "Oi! Tomato!" I looked around. There was Subaru. We've been dating for around 1 year, it was my first relationship. So I was super nervous, he made it seem so simple. "Subaru, what's up?"
He stopped next to me. We started walking to a bench and sat down.
"Hey Yume, can we talk for a little?"
"Um sure. About what?"
"I was wondering. What do we want to do in the future? Or maybe you?"
"Hmm. I definitely want to be in the idol industry. If I'm not an idol I would want to be a designer, or maybe open up my own school."
"Oh cool. What about your love life?"
"My love life?"
"In the future."
"Oh! I definitely want at least 2 kids, so that means I'll definitely get married. I hope I'm married to you!"
"Awwww you're so sweet!"
"Ahaha why are you blushing!?!"
"I should be asking you that!"
"Haha. Not. I need to go, I'm meeting up with the girls today. Bye! Love you!"
"Bye Yume! Love you too!"
I waved and walked away. I wonder why he ask me about my future. Specifically about my love life. Does he want me in the future? As his wife? Maybe I shouldn't think too much about this.
Subaru Pov
I was walking back M4's new dorm, over at the high school. I finally asked Yume about the future she wanted. And she said she wanted me in it, as her husband! I've been thinking about proposing to her, I mean I'm 20 and she's 18. We should be able to get married. But I'm worried that she'll say no though. We've only been dating for a year, but the love between us is unreal. At least in my opinion. I really think it can last forever. Maybe I should ask Kanata, he and Ako have been engaged for a few months. They wanted Ako to finish school before getting married.
"Kanata!" I said while walking in through the doors, "can I ask you something."
He came out of his room and said "sure, you just did."
"Kanata, you know what I mean!"
"Sure I do. What is it"
"When did you and Ako decide you wanted to be together forever?"
"Oh that? Is it about you and Yume? Do you want to propose to her!"
"Answer my question first!"
"Fine. We both decided it was right for us to be together. We decided after confirming that our love was real. So after getting her parents approval, I decided to propose to her. Though we decided to get married after she's graduated, which will be soon. Now answer me."
"Yes I've been thinking about proposing to Yume. But we've only been dating for a year! Is it enough?"
"Love doesn't need to be rushed. But when you feel it's right, go for it." Then he went out the door.
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going to meet Ako. After her lunch with the girls, we're having a date. Bye"
"Bye."
Maybe Kanata's right. Let me talk to Yume more, and then I'll propose. But I'll keep it in mind.
