Ako's Secret Talent? Pt.2

"Let's go for lunch, Kanata come too!" Mama said

"Oh, sure mom." He said while his face tinted pink a little.

Ako pov

We drove to town to eat lunch. There was this cafe called Penguin cafe. I've been wanting to try this cafe, it was introduced on this show I was watching. So we decided to eat here. When we got there, there was an actual live penguin. A family of 4, ran the cafe. The mother was also pregnant.

"Welcome everyone! What would you like to have today? The dad said.

"Hmm, we're here for the first time. What would you suggest?" Mama said

"I would suggest the tomato sandwich! Also, water goes well with that."

"Hmm what do you guys think?" Mama asked the rest of us

"Sure!" I said

"I don't mind." Kanata nodded

"Let's go with it then," Papa said, "We'll all have the tomato sandwich! Thank you"

"No, thank you! It'll be coming very soon!" The man said

While we were waiting I pulled out my phone. I saw I had some texts from the girls.

Yume: Did u ask ur parents?

Mahiru: Ako's probably busy. Let's not bother her

Laura: I agree with Mahiru

Yume: Hmph

Ako: oi I'm eating lunch so it's ok

Yume: Yay! Can u ask ur parents if we can have dinner with them?

Ako: sure!

I look up and ask, "Mom, Dad, are you free tonight?"

They looked at me and said "Yes we are. Why?"

"My friends were wondering if you wanted to have dinner with them. You can meet my friends."

"That would be wonderful! What about M4?"

"Sure, if they're free," I said while shrugging

"Ya, we're free," Kanata said

"Great then!" Mama said, "We'll meet them later tonight!"

"Yay! I'll text them!" I said

Ako: Girls, my mom said it was ok!

Mahiru: Yay

Yume: Finallyyyyyyy

Laura: This gets me going. We'll meet you tonight!

Ako: Oh ya, M4 is coming

Yume: M4?

Ako: Yes

Yume: Yay! The more the merrier!

Ako: Gtg

Mahiru: Bye

The food came and we ate. The food was so freaking delicious I almost jumped out of my seat, but I had to compose myself since my parents were here. At the end of our meal, we all decided we would pay, but only one of us could. Kanata and I somehow convinced my parents that they could pay for tonight's dinner. By the time I got the money out of my purse, the man already took the bill away.

Kanata said "No need to thank me. Being here is enough."

"Hmph, as if I would ever thank you!" I said

"Let's go back. You still have violin don't you?" Papa said

"Yes. Let's go!" I said while getting up and getting ready to leave.

After lunch, we drove back to school. I wonder if Kanata was impressed with me? Wait, why do I have these thoughts? Subaru should be here! Not Kanata!
