Wedding Day Pt.2 (Subaru x Yume)

We were starting soon. Gosh, I'm so nervous!

Yume POV

Why am I starting to shake? Why am I so nervous? Suddenly, I felt someone squeeze my hand. Oh ya, Papa was standing next to me so we can walk together for the ceremony. How could I forget?

"You don't need to be so nervous, Dear." He said while looking at me.

"Ya, I know. I just want today to be perfect. What happens if I trip!?!" I said. The image of me tripping in my dress floated in my mind.

"Well, I won't let you trip."

"Are you sure Papa?"

"Yes. You know your vows?"

"Yep! I know them by heart."

"That's good."

The order we were going out in was our flower girl, Yūki Momone, and our ring bearer, Shintani Hinata. Then it will Laura and Nozomu, Ako and Kanata, Mahiru and Itsuki, and lastly before me, Koharu and Asahi. Momone-chan and the girls will be holding baskets with petals. Throwing them while walking. Hinata-kun will be holding the rings, a job we can trust him with. Usually, the rings are fake, but Subaru and I decided he was trustworthy enough that he could hold our real rings.

"Everyone look over here! I want a quick picture before you guys go in." Mion-chan said waving at us.

We all nodded and smiled. Snap "Ok, thank you, guys! We will be recording the wedding just so you know!"

"Thank you, Mion-chan!" I said.

Suddenly we heard music playing. I guess it was time. Laura looked back at me and nodded. The doors slowly opened, revealing the church where Subaru was inside. Subaru. After this, I won't be his girlfriend or fiancée. I'll be his wife. Momone-chan and Hinata-kun started walking. The girls following them.

Soon the song changed again. Here comes the bride, here comes the bride. I took a deep breath and started walking while holding my bouquet of flowers. Papa gave my hand a squeeze which I squeezed back in return. When I walked into the room, everyone stood up. There were rows and rows of people and every single one was standing. I looked straight ahead and there he was. We made eye contact and we were the only ones in the room. He was my whole world.

Near the front, I broke eye contact and looked at the girls. They all gave encouraging smiles. I looked around the room, there were all my friends. Hime-senpai, Yozora-senpai, Yuzu-senpai, Tsubasa-senpai. Haruka, Elza-chan, Rei-chan, Kiara, Aria. I saw my mom crying and gave her a smile. She smiled back and wiped a tear away. She was sitting with the other girls' mom.

Once at the front, we stopped.

"May I take her hand, Nijino-san?" Subaru asked.

"Do you really have to?" My dad asked.

"It is your choice."

"Well then, my choice is..." He then took my hand and put it in Subaru's. "Take care of her Subaru."

"I will. Thank you."

"Lady's and gentleman, today we have the marriage of Yūki Subaru and Nijino Yume. Let's start with the vows."

I nodded and faced Subaru. "The first time I met you was when I fell out of a tree. I didn't get hurt because you caught me. Then one day you confessed to me, and I didn't get it. I became a top idol and you became a top idol. When you came back to Japan, our love story started. Since that day I promised that I will always be by your side. I promise I will always be there if you need a shoulder. I promise you will be my one and only. I promise I will forever be your best friend. I promise I will be you boiled octopus forever. I promise to love you forever, Yūki Subaru."

After I was done, Subaru started. Was it me or were his eyes watering? "We met when I caught you from falling out a tree. You sure were an interesting girl. I love how you were motivated even when things didn't go as planned. I love how hard working you are. I confessed before I left Japan though you didn't understand. After I became a top idol, I finally felt I was able to stand by your side. When I came back our romance grew wonderfully. Every single day, I promised I would never leave you. I would stay by your side, even when you didn't need me. I would be there to protect you. And still, to this day, these are all true. My biggest commitment was when I promised that I will love you forever and ever. I love you, Nijino Yume."

Then we exchanged our rings. My eyes were watering. His words were so touching. I seriously love this guy so much.

"You heard their vows," the priest said, "Does anyone have any objections to this marriage?" A moment of silence past and no one said anything. "Well then Yūki Subaru, do you take Nijino Yume as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

"I do," He said and smiled at me.

"And Nijino Yume, do you take Yūki Subaru as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"

I took a deep breath and said, "I do."

"You may kiss the bride!"

Subaru looked at me with a grin, then leaned and kissed me.
