1.  ( ° )  Degree Symbol :  Shift + Alt +  :  [colon symbol] 

  In math, degrees are a unit of angle measure.

                           Example:   360°  

2.  ( ² )  Square/2nd Power :  Alt + 2

  Result of multiplying a number by itself.

                          Example:   2² = 2 × 2  

3.  ( ³ )  3rd Power :  Alt + 3

  Result of multiplying a number by itself twice.

                        Example:   2³ = 2 × 2 × 2

4.  ( ÷ )  Division Sign :  Shift + Alt +  =  [equal sign]

5.  ( × )  Multiplication Sign :  Alt +  =  [equal sign]

6.  ( µ )  Micro :  Alt + M 

  A unit prefix in the metric system denoting a factor of 10⁻⁶  (one-millionth).  

8.  ( ¼ )  Fraction One-Fourth :  Alt + 6

9.  ( ½ )  Fraction One-Half :  Alt + 7

10.  ( ¾ )  Fraction Three-Fourths :  Alt + 8
