I jolt upright, holding in a scream.
Just a dream, just another nightmare.... Sorry Nuka, sorry.
I stand, walking out of the cave, I have to clear my head.
I stroll past where the royals should be sleeping, Simba's space lays empty. I furrow my brow, he probably just went for a walk. I smile to myself.
One day, this will all be mine, mine, mine, all MINE. Sorry Kiara. I laugh.
Rooooooaaaaaaaaaarr!!!!!
I flinch, and listen intently. It sounds like......... Simba! And he's got company.....
A few minutes later
I run as fast as I can, avoiding snapping hyenas littering the edges of the Pride lands.
Need to find him... Need to save the king.....
Then I see him.
His body lies limp, at the mercy of..
Another lion?
''Simbaaaaaa!!!!!'' I scream. He answers me, gasping:
''My son....Askari........Hakuna.....Matata.....''
''You.'' I unsheave my claws, growling and roaring.
''It was the hyenas please, have mercy on me....please'' says the lion, he is only my age, yet truly terrifying.
''You killed the king! Yet you ask for mercy, he dies by your teeth, and you hide!'' I'm raging now, how will I tell Kiara? How will I be the king?
''I swear, why would I kill the king? The hyenas are guilty, guilty as they were before!''
