Chapter 3 – Letting Loose

“I swear I would definitely turn lesbian for you, Autumn.”

I let out a laugh at Danielle’s statement, sitting on the edge of Erica’s bed while I slid on my purple heels. We had all just finished getting ready for Erica’s birthday party, and I had to say, I was totally in love with my outfit.

It was a pretty purple satin dress that ended a couple of inches above my knees, with straps that criss crossed on my back. There was a deep V-neck cut that exposed a bit of cleavage but had a stoned belt type thing wrapped around right underneath my breasts. My hair was curled and makeup was done, and I did, in fact, feel as glamorous as Erica told us we would.

“I could say the same to you,” I retorted, shooting Danielle a smirk.

She wore a metallic silver strapless dress that barely covered her butt, but she looked amazing in it, especially since she had straightened her naturally curly hair. Erica was wearing a studded, beautiful blood red halter neck dress with black heels and she did, in fact, look amazing.

“All right, are we all ready?” Erica questioned once she had put on the silver diamond necklace Calum had gotten for her around her neck. Danielle and I nodded, and she grinned. “Good, let’s go – the limo’s already waiting for us outside.”

Grabbing our clutches that held our things and putting on our coats since it was a chilly night, Danielle and I followed Erica out of her bedroom and down the stairs. After saying goodbye to her parents, we slid into the limo after the driver held the door open for us, and once he closed it and got in behind the wheel, he set off to Calum’s house, where I found out all of the guys had been getting ready.

The stretch limo had a black and grey L shaped couch with a fully stocked mini bar right in front of us, with colorful LED lights changing colors every few seconds above head. After asking the driver to play some music, Fancy by Iggy Azalea started playing and the girls and I couldn’t help but just jam out to it as we drove down to Calum’s house.

Soon enough, the limo came to a stop and the driver honked the horn, signaling the boys to come out. The windows of the limo were tinted, so we couldn’t see the boys until the driver had opened the door for them so they could climb in.

And, shit, they looked a lot more handsome than I had anticipated.

The boys were all dressed as classily as Erica had told them to—in dress shirts, pants, and shoes. Ashton and Calum had even gone as far as wearing tux jackets over their button down shirts, while Michael and Luke went against the idea. Nonetheless, they all looked extremely attractive.

The girls and I shifted a bit so the boys could sit, with Calum right next to Erica. I was sitting next to Danielle, until I felt a presence to my right and I turned my head to see that Luke, of all people, had decided to sit next to me. “Hiii, Autumn!” Luke said overly cheerfully, shooting me a wide grin.

I narrowed my eyes at him as the car started moving once again. “What do you want?”

Luke smiled and if it wasn’t a really cute one I would’ve punched him in the face. “I’m just saying hi to my friend. Is that so wrong?”

“I’m not your friend,” I deadpanned.

          He pouted. “Harsh.”
