More tears fell from Sean's eyes as his hands slide down Dark's chest, before slipping under his arms to hug him close. Sean's fingers fisted handfuls of Dark's shirt at his back, while he buried his head against Dark's cool chest. One of Dark's arms wrapped around his shoulders, holding him close. Leaving his other hand to continue stroking his fingers through Sean's hair. For a few minutes, they stayed like that. Sean didn't want to move from his embrace. His heart was too fragile and despite everything... He felt like Dark would take care of it. Closing his eyes, he listened to Dark's heart to break the deafening silence. While his was barely beating, Dark's was pounding at a calm steady rhythm. After a time, Dark's hand pulled away from his face and ignited with a rippling blue flame. Sean's heart seemed to stumble in his chest, falling easily out of rhythm at just the thought of why Dark was doing that. Over his head, Dark whispered to him in a deep loving voice. "I'm sorry I didn't finish... You must be uncomfortable."
Sean forced himself to chuckle a little, mumbling out over Dark's chest. "I don't think 'uncomfortable' is the word I'd use." Dark kissed his forehead and Sean watched Dark's hand lower out of his view. He felt the blanket move away and Sean lifted his leg a little to help him. He thought Dark would jerk him off, but he didn't. His hand simply cupped over his crotch. Sean's body tensed against Dark as he let out deep intoxicating moans from the pleasure of it. Even though Dark's hand wasn't moving, the sensation of warmth was enough to make him want to move. Dark kept him still though and before too long... his hand moved away. For a brief moment, Sean felt like Dark was getting ready to leave. Quickly shifting onto his knees in front of Dark, he pleaded with him desperately. "Don't go... Not yet...I-" Sean's voice cut out, when he looked into Dark's gentle eyes and saw him smirk so warmly at him. Blushing, Sean bowed his head to stare at the carpet with embarrassment. What was wrong with him? Was he so desperate for companionship? Why was he so afraid of being alone?
Dark lifted his chin with his fingers, his voice going so deep and emotional that Sean almost swooned in his arms when he stated aloud. "You remind me so much of him... and yet you're so very different from him." Sean smiled feeling flattered, until his brain caught up to Dark's words and his smile faded. Pulling his blanket around himself, Sean stood up and grimly stated down at him. "Why do you keep comparing me to... It hurts." Sean clenched his jaw as more tears ran down his face, forcing him to turn away. In the mirror on the dresser, Sean watched Dark climb to his feet to tell him seriously. "I don't know a way to make you understand. To me... You're the same person. Only... The shadows that ruled him, are not in you. There is more light in your eyes. You can deny it... but you are him." Sean watched Dark lower his eyes from Sean's back, his eyes turning distant and emotional as he added softly under his breath. "I can't possibly make you understand a lifetime of memories. Decades of memories. I've seen history repeat itself so many times that eventually everything blurs together. Anti and I hated each other... but in the end... We were all we knew."
Dark turned to sit on the edge of the bed with a heavy sigh, adding grimly. "You are everything I loved about him. The part of himself that he killed, because of my own arrogance." Sean faced the bed a little, picking up the heavy black jeweled crown to look it over. He couldn't explain it, but he felt like he had seen it before... or something like it. A black thorn crown with roses made of blood red rubies. Turning the crown over in his hands, he asked Dark very softly. "In your realm... You told me that you used an illusion from your memory to torture Mark..." Dark turned curious eyes on Sean, asking in return. "Yes. Why?" Sean turned to fully face Dark, handing him his crown back as he told him seriously. "Show me, Anti. You say we are the same... Show me." Dark leapt up from the bed so fast that Sean barely caught his moment. Dark yanked the crown away from him, growling back sternly. "No! You don't know what you're asking." Sean took a step closer to him, telling him in a soft voice. "You want to be closer to me? Then show me who you are. You know everything about me, and I know nothing about you. Share your past with me. Help me understand."
