Sean had only made it halfway down the walkway of his house, when he turned around to say reluctantly. "I forgot to turn off my game..." Damien turned him back around by his shoulders, telling him coolly. "Too bad. We're leaving." At the sidewalk, Sean stopped to look out at the empty street. With a small chuckle, he mumbled out. "I take it we are walking?" Damien shot him a neutral glare. Sean gave him a shrug, then gawked at the car parked at the curb behind Damien. From the doorway, Signe called out to Damien a bit abashed. "Mark, when did you get your car?" Damien raised his hand to press a button on his car keys, causing the car to roar to life and the bright headlights to turn on. With a brilliant grin, Damien stated back to her. "I just bought it. It seemed more... me." Sean walked up to the bright shiny red Tesla roadster and traced his fingers over the hood. Even with all the money he made, he couldn't afford even half of the payment to a $32,000,000 car. Sean glanced back at Damien, asking in a soft voice. "You bought this?"
Damien smirked, saying a bit smugly. "You said you weren't a cheap date and you said no tricks. So, I figured that I'd improvise. Just like you wanted." Damien strolled up next to him, grabbing the handle of the passenger side to pop open the door. Raising the wing door for Sean, Damien grinned as he added casually. "Did you think I was going to show up in Mark's depressing van? Be honest." Sean ducked under the wing door to look inside at the black and red leather seats, upon answering breathlessly. "I really didn't know what you'd do. I thought you'd just teleport me someplace. Can you even drive?" Damien huffed lightly, telling him in a deep confidant tone. "Can I drive...? Sean, let me take you for a ride. Then you can tell me." Sean carefully slipped into the seat, inhaling the strong new car smell. The car was so sleek and sexy. If Damien was a car... Sean had no doubt that he'd be a Tesla. Damien closed the door for Sean and then moved around the car to the driver side. Damien popped open the driver door, giving Signe a wicked grin before slipping into the car.
Damien pressed a button on the frame by the door and it began to close on its own. Allowing Damien to grab the wheel and press a chrome button on the center panel. Sean cleared his throat, asking nervously as he buckled up. "Where is the shifter?" Damien smirked at him, gesturing to the chrome panel and buttons as he replied softly. "Doesn't have one. It's a... new automatic. You never been in one of these?" Sean shot Damien a sarcastic look, grumbling out. "I don't even have a license." Damien revived the engine, causing the engine purr like thunder and the car to vibrate. Sean blushed, shifting in the seat more comfortably. Damien chuckled, pulling out away from the curb nice and slow. He had been in a lot of cars, but this one was by far the smoothest. Sean played with the touch screen on the dash to find a good radio station. This car had him gushing. Damien pulled out onto the main road and gunned the engine. Sean anxiously grabbed the seat but relaxed a little with how Damien was able to smoothly move around other drivers.
He wasn't a reckless driver. He gave drivers plenty of space, but he was by no means a slow driver. Sean watched people stare at them as they drove by. A tesla was a rare sight to see. Sean loved seeing the envy on the men they passed and the lust in the eyes of the women. The streetlights gleamed off the sleek red frame as Damien cruised through Brighton. Sean felt his adrenaline rush watching the world just pass by. He had never been a car lover... but he was quickly realizing why people picked lovers based on their cars. They drove passed the ocean and Sean rolled down his window to look out at the dark water. The smell of sea water never smelled as good as it did right now. He wanted to see the whole world from the seat of this car. They slowed beautifully up to the light, before Damien asked him with a warm smile. "Having fun so far?" Sean didn't think his smile could get any bigger as he answered honestly. "Yes. I'm speechless..." Damien set a hand on Sean's leg, stroking his leg with his thumb. The gesture was innocent. Yet, Sean's heart skipped from the contact.
