Damien pulled Sean closer by his hand, adjusting it to hold it at their shoulder level. Sean's whole body was shaking. He liked dancing on his own, but he wasn't sure he was coordinated enough to dance with someone else. Damien's free hand slid around his waist, pulling his hips closer and Sean chuckled nervously. Damien's soft brown eyes looked deeply into his, asking in a buttery voice. "Something wrong?" Sean raised his beer to his lips, mumbling out anxiously before trying to chug it down. "I'm not drunk enough for this..." Damien took his beer from him carefully, leaning in to whisper sweetly. "Don't be so embarrassed. Nothing you do will scare me away." Damien set the beer down on the ground, then stepped back up to him. Sean swallowed, raising a shaky hand to take Damien's again. Damien pulled Sean's hips closer, whispering close to his ear. "Put your hand on my shoulder." Sean took a deep breath, moving his free hand up Damien's arm to grab his shoulder a bit tightly.

Damien smirked, telling him casually. "Just follow me. Do what I do." To test him, Damien moved his foot back and waited to see if Sean got it. Sean started to take a step back like him, causing Damien to tell him in a deep purr. "Sean, stay with me. Watch my body language. I'll guide you with my hands. Just stay close." Sean glanced down at his feet, mumbling out grimly. "I'm never going to remember all this..." Damien nipped Sean's ear playfully, telling him after warmly. "Don't fight me. Move with me. Trust me." Sean kept his eyes on the ground, nodding. Damien's hand left Sean's waist to lift his chin, telling him lovingly. "Watch me. Not your feet." Sean felt like huddling up into a corner. Damien smiled at him, putting his hand back on Sean's hip. Damien took it slow. Stepping back slowly, until Sean was able to stay with him. Before Damien backed off the edge, he stopped. Damien raised Sean's hand high and Sean knew from movies to spin around. As he did a slow awkward spin, Damien moved around him to reposition.

Damien made every move look so graceful and fluid. While he felt still and awkward. Damien pulled him back up to him, leading him back across the parking lot at a slow pace that stopped and started. Sean blushed a deep red, wincing as he admitted dryly. "I feel silly enough to cringe myself to death..." Damien smirked, telling him confidently. "You worry too much about what other people think. No one is perfect at everything. The point is simply to try it and practice." Sean shot Damien a scowl, grumbling out. "You can't say that. You're perfect at everything..." Damien laughed heartily, spinning Sean around again, before pulling him close to say playfully. "You think I was this good at the start? I've had centuries of practice. I once backed up so fast that I impaled my shoulder on a décor piece in my ballroom." Sean chuckled loudly, not realizing that he had been dancing pretty well with him. Damien picked up the pace a bit, but Sean had gotten used to his basic rhythm. Allowing him to feel from his hand and shoulder, when he was going to move or transition. Just as he had said.

Without meaning too, Sean found himself almost pressed against Damien as they danced around the parking lot. With every turn, he grew more confident in swaying his body in time with Damien's. Even when he misjudged the timing and stepped on Damien's foot, they only laughed it off. Sean couldn't explain it, but as they danced... He felt closer to Damien not just physically, but mentally. Damien surprised him by suddenly pulling him up against him and dipping him back. Sean's arm on Damien's shoulder, moved to the back of Damien's neck. He wasn't afraid of falling. Dark had more than enough strength to hold him. It had more to do with an urge. A desire to pull him down over him. As Damien slowly pulled him back up against him, Sean breathlessly whispered close to Damien's lips nervously. "Is there supposed to be so much... sexual tension in dancing?" One of Damien's hands touched Sean's cheek, his lips drawing even closer as he answered in a husky whisper of his own. "Only if you like who you're dancing with. Do you like me?"

Sean wanted to kiss Damien so badly. Their lips touched so lightly that Sean's body was giving in to the sear softness of them. At least, until his mind snapped his body back into focus. Pulling back away from Damien's tempting lips, he breathlessly panted to him. "I'd be lying if I said that I didn't like you like this." Damien grinned, moving in slowly to try and kiss him. Sean turned his head away with such strain that he barely avoided the kiss. Damien kissed his cheek, asking him sweetly. "What's wrong?" Sean stepped away from Damien a step or two, before answering honestly. "Nothing. I just... I can't explain it. I want you, but something is still holding me back." Damien took his hand, intertwining their fingers as he told him. "I can wait forever if I have too." Sean rolled his eyes not believing that for a second. Damien lowered the volume of music from the car, before walking him back over to the trunk. Sean wasn't sure why, until Damien removed a rolled-up blanket and something in a white paper bag.
