Patty's POV

Monica and I decited yesterday that we should take a road trip and talk about stuff that recently happened.

Monica parked the car on the driveway and we carried our luggage to our room.

We were sharing a room because we could stay up late and talk.

I walked around to inspect the cabin and I found the old phone. "Look it has a phone too. I know we said it's a no phones trip but I think we should call Nanna and tell her we are fine, don't you think?"

Monica came from the other room and agreed. The dialed the number and not long after Joe answered.

"Joe? Are you back home alread?" Monica said with surprise tone.

My heart skipped a beat when I heard his name. It's only been a few days and I already miss him.

After Monica stopped talking to his brother she handed me the phone. "Don't talk for too long." She winked.

"I miss you too. See you soon, have fun." He wished as we said goodbye.

3rd POV

Joe was sitting in his room, bussy with planing details about his new Tuscany restaurant. He was excited to open another one but even more excited to tell Patty.
