Part 14

I'm Julia. Joe's fiance

Patty's head was spinning. She surely didn't her it right. She was looking from Nonna to Monica.

"What did you just say?" Monica asked right when I wanted to.

"Julia, your sister in law." She explained once again. "Oh I see, he didn't talk much about me did he."

She was left speachless. Tears startes to foam in her eyes but she was strong and held it in. She spoted a diamond rock on her finger.

It all made sence now. How surprised Gordon was when Joe called her his girl the other day. Surely he knew.

"Excuse me." Patty excused herself and was on her way to their room to pack her bags.

She couldn't believe what was happening. Again. Her heart was broken again by the one peraon who promised her not do broke it.

Patty was about to walk upstairs when the front door opened. Joe walked in smiling from ear to ear. "Hey, I came early because I wanted to show you something."

He furrowed his eyebrows when she disn't reply and jump in his arms. "Patty?"

Her heart broke even harder when he called her. She remembered att the kisses, all tbe huggs, all the time she has slept with him. She started breathing hard due to the pain she felt in her chest.

Julia heard her fiance voice and she ran to him. She threw her arms around his neck and kisses him.

Patty turned around and Joe's heart was acking when he saw her red teary eyes. She closed her eyea and tears fall down on the floor.

Joe stood there not really sure how to react at Julia's obliviance to the truth and to Patty finding oit he was about to marry to someone what isn't her.

He wanted to be anywhere else but here in this position.

Patty rolled her eyes and ran upstairs where she loked herself into their room and started packing.

"Take Julia someplace and distract her. Please, I need to talk to Patty." Joe whispered into Monica's ear.

She punched him on the mouth but then she led the strange woman to the kitchen.

Joe run upstairs and he wanted to enter but the door was locked. He begged her to open but there was no reply.

Patty was sitting on the floor, hear back leaned on the door Joe was banging on. She stared in front of herself.

She couldn't feal her heart beating in her chest. It was like someone ripped it out and stepp on it.

Joe scratched her head and ran back downstairs to his sister for help.

She slaped him and punched him in the face. "You stupid ass hole, how dare you she is my best friend. I hate you."

He tried to wipe away his sister's tears but she pushed his hand away. He muttered fuck under his breath. He was on his own.

Patty woke up from her trans and started crying she was holding her knees tight to her chest to releave some pain. She was feeling sick just at the tought of hiw they had sex on this bed all those times

All of a sudden she grabbed a few clothes she had in his room and unlocked the door to go pack her bags in her room. She couldn't wait to get the fuck out of this house.

She forgot to lock the room so Joe ran straight to her room. "Baby please..."

She was about to throw up at the word baby. "Shut up you dickhead. After telling you what happened an the past you still did this to me. You make me sick."

She pulled her bags out under her bed and started throwing clothes from the closed into the bags.

Joe was pleading and apologising but it was over for her. How coul'd she love someone who betrayed her that big?

She was finnaly done packing so she grabbed her wallet and walk past Joe and out the room. She never wanted to come back, ever. She stopped and turned around. "If Julia asks why I'm leaving all of a sudden tell her I had a familly emergancy."

Joe furroves his eyebrows.

"One broken heart is enough. It isn't her fault anyways." Patty turns forward and sratrts dragging her suitcase down the hall and into the first floor.

Joe was speachless. How did it let that happen. He wanted to brake things off with Julija, jet when he could he didn't.

He had so many oportunities to tell Patty but he reather keep it to himself.

He leaned to the wall and slowly slid down till his bottom hit the cold ground.

Monica runned to Patty and her lugage. "Please don't go, please. I didn't know I swear."

Patty startes crying and her best friend hugged her. "I know. It's okay. We'll always be friends right?"

Monica nodded and threw her hands over her best friends neck, pulling her in a tight hug.

Nonna came and hugged her. "I'm sorry kid."

"It's fine Nonna. It's none of your fault." They hugged.

The taxy beeped outside alarming that he has arrived. Patty looked at Nonna and Monica one last time and walk to the door.

Taxy driver put her suitcase in the trunk and drove away slowly. Patty turned around one last time seing Joe watching out the window.

Ahe closed her eyes and put a hand on her stomack. "We'll be alright litte penaut. I promise."
