Patty was sitting in her bathroom hugging her knees tightly to her chest, tears in her eyes. "How could this happen?" She cryed. Door bell rang and she knew Sofia and Monica are back from her sleepover so she washed her face with cold watter to get rid of reddnes and walked to open the door.

"Hello baby girl." She hugged her daughter and spun her around. "Did you have a great time?"

"Oh yes mommy." Sofia cheered. "We had a movie marathon and daddy dressed up as Elsa. It was so funny." She giggled.

"That sounds fun." She faked a smile. "Aren't you gonna come in?" He asked Monica who was typing on her phone.

"No, I have a dinner date planned so next time?" She giggled, running towards her house.

Patty didn't know what to do or where to go from this. She didn't want go see Joe or even talk to him so she knew going away on vacation for a few days was the answer.

She wasn't gonna tell anyone anything about the trip because she didn't wanted to be disturbed so she packed a small bag for her and Sofia and hopped in the car and straight to the airport. "Where shall we go?" She tought out loud, standing in front of a big board with time of departues written on it.

"Mommy Disneyland?" Sofia smiled up at Patty. This was a smile that could move rocks. "Please."

"Paris it is." Patty giggled, walking to register to buy tickets.

After a few days in Paris and thousands missed call from everyone Patty finnaly decited to answer Nonna's call. "Where on earth are you two? Everyone has been worried sick thinking someone kidnapped you!" She started crying as she finnaly saw they were safe.

"I am so sorry." Patty realized what she did was wrong and she should at least tell Nonna something. "We needed a break from everything but don't worry we are fine." Patty tried to make the call end soon so she would not have to talk to Joe. "Okay we have to go now but we will be back soon."

Patty hung up and massaged the temples on her head. "Mommy?" Sofia jumped in her lap. "Are you okay?"

"I am fine sweetie." Patty lied, forcing a smile. "Let's go explore the city some more okay?"

Sofia jumped off of her mom, running to grab her shoes. "Let's go."

"You are so silly." Patty grabbed Sofia's hand and walked with her through the bussy streets of Paris, city of love. She suddenly tought of Joe and what will happen next. "What are we gonna do?" She whispered looking down.
