"Wake up sleeping beauty." Joe uncovered Patty early in the morning.
Patty opened her eyes, looking at the man, laying in her bed. She was surprised at anyone laying in her bed so she pushed him down before seeing who it was. "What the fuck Joe?... No, no.. please tell me we didn't." She panicked, covering her body up with the blanket.
"Oh we did." Joe teased her, slowly picking himself off the floor. "After you begged me almost on your knees. It was amazing."
Patty threw herself back down on the bed, covering her head with her pillow. "No not again. How embarasing, I'm never drinking again."
"No you didn't but I wanted to see your face." Joe laughed as Patty punched him with the pillow straight in his face. His smirk was gone from his face. "I was a perfect gentelman, don't forget that." He whinked at her, walking away. "You have a visitor downstairs."
"A visitor?" Patty furrowed her eyebrows. "Who could it be?" She quickly brushed her hair in a ponytail and flushed her mouth with a mouth wash to get rid of the taste of vine. She heard talking of a woman as she walked downstairs in to her kitchen. "Mom?"
Elder lady turned around with annoyance on her face. "Hello P."
"Mom what are you doing here?" Patty carefully walked towards her but as soon as she saw Joe's face she stopped dead in her tracks. Something in her gut told her it was not a pleasant visit. But who was she kidding the visit from her mom never is.
Mom got up from the table, her expencive jewlery shinning from her neck and hands. "I came for my grandaughter. She can't live in Italy somewhere in the middle or nowhere." She pulled out her checkbook. "She needs education and not be a rebel like you." She wrote something on the piece of papper, handing it to Patty.
Patty looked at Joe who had his hands formed in fists, ready to explode bit he was holding himself together out of respect for Patty. "Ma'am..." He tryed talking to her in a calm way.
"Don't ma'am me when we are almost the same age." Mom laughed, fixing her hair. "What were you even thanking? You could have marry Harry and not have a baby with him, he would give you everything."
"A black eye, broken lip maybe ribs." Patty chuckled. "But it would made you ritch wouldn't it. She glanced down at the papper, toring it. "You think my daughter is for sale?"
Joe walked to stand by Patty's side as he saw how angry she became. "You should leave." He suggested to the lady he never ever heard off. "Just till things calm down."
"Who do you think you are telling me what to do?" Mom laughed. "She doesn't even want you she wants your money. Look at the house you bought her, she's loving it."
Joe took a step forward, pointing his finger in her face but Patty stopped him. "I am nothing like you, thank god for that." She walked to the door, opening it. "Goodbye and don't even think of returning." Patty watched as her mom stormed off, before falling down on her knees.
"I'm sorry." Joe sat down on the ground and pulled her in his arms. "Your mom looks like a terrible person." He joked making her giggle.
"What makes you think that?" She made both of them giggle as Joe draw invisable circles on her back, knowing it calms her down. "Joe?" He hummed in responce, kissing her head. "Promise me to make sure I never become like that."
Joe laughed but he knew she was serious, broken inside and he needed to fix it. "You couldn't." He raized her head up, kissing her lips and she didn't resist.
