Chapter 18

The table was awkward Luke didn't say anything Ashton just looked at us both.

"I'll go get the pizza and the drinks" Ashton says

He gets up and makes line

"You know I was following you the whole time right ?" Luke says

I looked up at him then away

"Do you really think I would let you walk alone on the beach here?" I rolled my eyes "I'm serious Jackie" he says

"Not like you care anyways "I spat

"Stop" Luke says

I don't turn to him

"If I didn't care I would've left you talking to the guy at the beach and not follow you " he says

"How do you kn-"

"I told u I didn't leave you alone"

I look at him

"What do you want me to say sorry for fucking your best friend? Sorry that your boyfriend is a dick ?"

I laugh , not a good laugh but those annoyed fake laughs you do

"This is the problem you're such a dick all the time you throw it in my face again everything that happened an-" he smashed his lips into mine , I can't help but kiss back, I needed his lips it felt right .. Again

By the time we pull away Ashton is sitting next to me going through his phone our drinks and the pizza sitting infront of us

"Don't mind me I didn't want to interrupt" Ashton says

I grab my drink and sip

While Ashton and Luke talk we all eat

I was hungry I haven't eaten in about 5 hours and it felt like days

I sit just thinking about everything , before I knew it I was crying again, why would Michael do that to me yes I did cheat on him but I felt horrible after and he was acting like whatever

Ashton said bye to me and left me alone with Luke

"Do you want me to take you home?" He asks

"No " i get my phone out and text my mom saying I won't be home until tomorrow

"I'll just walk to wherever "

"No you're not" he gets up and takes my hand

"Come" I get up and follow after him

After a few minutes of walking he takes me to a cliff he lays down and looks up at the stars

"Come on" he says

I stand there debating whether I should run away or lay down with him

Before I can answer my own question I find myself laying down next to him

"You know you said you go to the beach to relax and think a bit?" He asked

I nod

"This is my place"

I stare at the beautiful bright stars above us

He turns to me and lays his head on his arm

"Jackie"

"Hm?"

"Can you stop being mad at me"

"Why do you care anyways"

He kisses the side of my lip

"Because I do why do you have to be so complicated I did nothing wrong"
