The doctor came a few minutes later again

"Michael Clifford" he announces

again we all rushed to him "Can i see him now!?" i nearly yelled

the doctor nods "he's stable now, two people can go in and see him, hes down the hall room 698'

we nod

i was about to say im going in but my mom puts her hand on my lower back

"honey let his parents go in" she whispers

i quickly turn to her

"no! i want to see him!"

"Jacqueline you're not stable enough to go see him like that! you can see him when they come out, theyre the parents"

i shake my head , im not giving it i want to see him

i turn to his parents and they look extremely broken, i nod slowly

"you guys can go in" i forcefully say

"honey are you sure?" Michaels mom asks

i nod "youre his parents ill go in after you and stay the night, if thats okay"

they both nod , i know they rather not have me stay but they have jobs and they're even more broken than i am

they both walk down the hall and disappear once they make a turn

i sit down and let out a huge sigh

im tired, hungry, moody and depressed

"im going to the cafeteria, what do you want?" Genesis asks me

i shake my head "nothing"

she gives me a sad look once again and walks away

i rub my stomach and close my eyes "daddy will be fine, he will get well and be with us like a happy family"

i open my eyes and scan the room, my eyes land on Niall , hes on the phone arguing with whoever it is hes talking to. He hanged up his phone and looked at me, before looking walking towards me he looks around and im not sure for what.

Niall takes a seat next to me and leans a little closer

"I just got a call from the race, the other guy had a bad crash apparently both cars had problems and lost control" he says

"i dont give a shit about the other racer! he crashed into Michael, he wouldnt be this bad if he didnt crash into him"

"jackie its not his fault.."

"it should be!, I can barely afford gas and now how am i going to afford such hospital bill and a baby with a memory lossed father and-"

"Jackie please stop talking, you know youre definitely not alone, the bills i have this and Michael still gets a few grand out of this race"

i nod

Genesis comes a few moments later with a sandwhich and a gatorade "here" she says "turkey sandwhich and your drink, you have to eat something"

i would reject it after all i did say no but im hungry and i have to think about the baby and be strong enough for Michael

i thank her and grab the food

I took over 40 minutes to finish my sandwhich as in a cue as soon as i finished Michaels parents came into the waiting room crying

"is everyhting okay? i quickly stand up
