Peter's p.o.v
I hoped that Grace wouldn't mind the fact that I was late. "What bully?" I asked my voice cracking as if they practiced it all the Avengers raised their eyebrows in sync.
"The one that pushed you off of the bus." Uncle Steve replied.
"He's not a bully, I'm pretty sure that it was just an accident." I replied not looking at any of the Avengers in front of me.
"Fine we won't come down." Dad said.
"Thank you."
"But we will be keeping an eye on you. And if we need to give you something, talk about something, or we think that this boy is getting out of hand, we will come down and get you." Dad finished.
"Okay." I sighed.
I went back to the main floor Amal's walked outside to see that my class was standing outside waiting.
"Ah, Peter," Grace said. "I just finished explaining the levels and now I'm going to pass out the badges." I nodded then stood next to Ned pulling out my badge and putting it on. Mr. Harrington saw me do so and pulled me aside.
"Peter, I know that your at home life has been rough and we tolerated you lying to keep your moral high, but it has gone too far. You should not print a badge to fake an internship!" Mr. Harrington said.
"But-" I was interrupted by Mr. Harrington putting his hand up.
"Either take off the badge and admit to the lie or you will be receiving detention for a week."
"I'm not-" I was interrupted again.
"Detention it is, now hand over your fake badge." Mr. Harrington commanded putting out his hand.
I started to take off my badge when Grace came to my rescue. "Peter, why are you taking off your badge? You know the rule against making multiple badges for one person." She chided.
"With all due respect Grace, Peter has been lying about his internship and he took it so far to the point where he printed a fake badge to sell his lie." Mr. Harrington said and Grace gave me a 'I can't believe this bitch' look.
"Why don't we see what FRIDAY has to say about it? Dr. Stark's AI can always spot when someone is lying or doesn't actually have a real badge," Grace informed him and Mr. Harrington agreed to her terms and walked away. "You're welcome." She whispered and I smiled.
After everyone else went I scanned my badge and FRIDAY said "Activate PSS protocol." PSS stood for Peter Skipping School.
"They already know I'm here, so end call." I said quickly.
"But they're not supposed to without me informing them." FRIDAY sounded genuinely offended.
"They saw me walk in earlier when my nose was bleeding." I explained.
"Alright." FRIDAY replied.
"How did you hack into Tony Stark's AI? And what's PPS?" Flash asked.
"I didn't hack into the AI, I actually have an internship here." I explained.
"Yeah right." Flash scoffed rolling his eyes at me. I sighed 'He'll never stop annoying me about this, will he?' I thought.
"Dude, don't listen to Flash. He's just jealous." Ned said to me.
"I know." I spoke.
"But What is PSS?" MJ asked.
"It stands for Peter Skipping School. FRIDAY immediately contacts Dad about it and he basically gets mad and drags me to school. It's only happened twice though. It didn't activate the first time because Happy was with me." I explained.
"So, first on our tour we will be visiting one of the labs that are slightly higher in the building." Grace spoke.
"Will we get to see any of the Avengers?" Someone asked.
Grace thought for a moment. "I doubt that we will, but we might see Dr. Banner and maybe even Dr. Stark. Now please follow me to the elevators."
We all entered the elevator and Grace asked FRIDAY to take us up.
"Grace? Have you ever met Pen- Peter Parker here?" Flash asked smirking.
"Well, we haven't really talked much, but I've seen him a a few times," Grace replied. "Though I haven't even seen half of the people in the building so you can't base stuff like this off of one persons experience." Flash just grumbled at her response and she gave me a small smile.
"You have arrived at the labs." FRIDAY spoke through the speakers.
"Okay, Midtown this is one of the many labs in the building. And-" Grace started, as she walked backwards she bumped into someone. "Oh I'm so sorry si- Dr. Banner?!"
Uncle Bruce chuckled. "It's okay Grace." He spine reading the tag on her shirt. "What school are you touring?"
"Midtown High!" Flash called beaming because he was the first to respond. I simply rolled my eyes at the jerk.
"Midtown?" Uncle Bruce was the only Avenger who hadn't been in the room when I came in all bloody.
"Yes." Flash replied.
Uncle Bruce started searching the crowd. "Peter? Where are you?" My class immediately parted and looked at me as I mumbled 'betrayal'.
"Hey Dr. Banner!" I awkwardly greeted awkwardly waving at him.
"Dr. Banner? What happened to being Uncle Bruce? I'm offended Peter." Uncle Bruce stated sounding fake offended. 'Shit.Shit.Shit.Shit' were my only thoughts.
"Uncle Bruce?" Kayla, someone else on the trip, asked.
"Oh, Peter, you didn't tell them?" Uncle Bruce asked.
"Well It seems kind of unbelievable." I said through my teeth.
"What does?" Daisha questioned.
"Um........." I spoke thinking about what to say.
"Oh look at the time!" Grace exclaimed drawing the attention away from me. "We need to get going. Apologies Dr. Banner."
"That's alright." Uncle Bruce said and we all turned around to leave.
"So," Grace said. "Next on our tour will be to an Avengers training room," Hands shot up. "I doubt that they will be there though," the hands went down. "It's an old one. It's from before they had Vision, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man, War Machine, Falcon, White Wolf, sometimes Black Panther, And sometimes Dr. Strange."
We went down to the training room, Grace scanned her card to reveal a room full of my family. 'Yay!' I thought sarcastically.
"Oh, sorry," Dad said as he noticed us and I swear he was trying to hide a smirk. "Did we interrupt?"
"Oh, no, Dr. Stark," Grace quickly spoke. "I didn't know that you'd be in here. I was told that this is an old training room."
"It is," Dad said. "But we renovated it a little so we could use it." 'I bet they did this just to embarrass me.' I thought.
"Then, we'll leave right this moment," Grace spoke. "Sorry for interrupting." Grace got really nervous around her Boss because she said that she could be fired after one screw up.
"Actually," Uncle Steve said as my team turned to leave. "We were wondering if you'd like to join us?"
"Um, are you sure? I mean we're already running a little late." Grace spoke.
"Isn't this an overnight trip?" Dad asked.
"Yes!" Flash replied.
"So it wouldn't hurt, would it?" Uncle Clint asked.
Grace looked at Mr. Harrington for permission and he said. "I suppose we could stay a little."
"Great," Uncle Steve clapped his hands then asked. "Now who wants to play dodgeball?"
