(A/N: Tony And May have shared custody of Peter but Peter still calls Tony Mr. Stark. May and Peter move into the tower. Loki is friends with the group)
Third person p.o.v
The team had a plan. This was the best plan that they had in ages. This was the best idea they had since deciding to do a movie night every Friday. This plan was the ultimate plan of plans. They were going to test if Peter hates peppermint.
And now you may be thinking 'Why is the team doing this?' Well, the day before Bucky was giving everyone mint flavored gum and when Bucky asked Peter if he wanted any Peter politely declined. The problem with this? Peter loves chewing gum. So, they had to test this theory because Tony mentioned how spiders don't like peppermint so this was the ultimate test.
Then, Bucky brought up a valid question "How are we going to get Peter to have mint flavored stuff?"'
"Switch his toothpaste?" Natasha suggested.
"Give him gum and not tell him what flavor it is?" Clint suggested.
"Give him mint water?" Steve suggested.
"Put mint in to every single one of his meals and see how he reacts?" Loki suggested.
After more brainstorming they decided to go with Loki's plan. It was almost lunch time so they made sandwiches. They planted the mint under the lettuce so that it wasn't visible.
"Peter!" Tony called. "Lunch!"
"Coming, Mr. Stark!" Peter called back and raced down the stairs and into the kitchen to see his family eating sandwiches.
"Your's is right here." Bucky said pointing to the mint planted sandwich.
"Thanks Mr. Bucky!" Peter exclaimed and he took a bite of the sandwich.
Peter did not like the sandwich. But he didn't want to offend anyone so he made a confused expression. "What's up, Pete?" Tony asked trying to hide a smirk.
"I was just wondering who made this sandwich." Peter stated.
"I did," Steve said. "Why?"
"Because normally Mr. Bucky makes them and I was just wondering because it tastes different then what he normally makes."
"Different In a bad way?" Steve asked.
"I mean, I don't like it as much as when Mr. Bucky makes them, but I wouldn't say in a bad way." Peter said trying not to offend Steve.
"Understandable." Steve said.
After the team finished lunch they started debating who would make dinner. Sam ended up being the one that has to make dinner. He made waffles. He put peppermint extract into the waffles that Peter was going to eat and put a P for Peter on his waffles with the help of Bucky and chocolate chips.
"Peter it's dinner time!" Tony called down up the stairs.
"Coming!" Peter called back. Peter raced down the stairs. "What's for dinner Mr. Stark?"
"Waffles. Yours are the one with the giant P with chocolate chips." Tony replied. Peter nodded and sat down at the table. Peter took a bite of the waffles and immediately wanted to throw up.
"I'm not that hungry anymore," Peter said pushing away his plate. "I'll be in the lab."
"Brush your teeth first." Steve commanded and Peter went to brush his teeth. Earlier that day Sam had switched Peter's strawberry toothpaste with peppermint flavored toothpaste. Peter did not notice somehow and started to brush his teeth.
The Avengers were half way through wondering what to do next to see if Peter didn't like peppermint when they heard someone holler "EW!" From upstairs. They ran upstairs and saw that Peter was spitting out toothpaste into his sink.
"What's wrong Pete?" Tony asked.
"Someone switched my toothpaste." Peter replied continuing to try to clean the taste of mint out of his mouth.
"What's so wrong with that?" Natasha asked.
"I hate peppermint, Ms. Natasha." Peter replied.
"You owe me $20 Sam!" Loki exclaimed and Peter whirled around.
"Were you betting if I liked the taste of peppermint?"
"Well, yes," Loki said. "Stark said that spiders do not like peppermint so we wanted to see if you like peppermint."
"It was Starks idea." Thor said.
"Worst. Dad. Ever." Peter said and then immediately covered his mouth.
"Kid, do you see me as a-" Tony never finished because Peter ran and jumped out the window. Tony screeched and called on the suit and then he got Peter before he could hit the ground.
"That was stupid." Natasha said.
"I'm sorry Mr. Stark-"
"Nope." Tony said.
"What? Mr. Stark-"
"Nope. We went to Dad and since I am one of your legal guardians I will not accept any less." Tony said.
"Okay, Dad." Peter said.
"And," Natasha added. "Stop calling us Mr. and Ms. anything. Call us your Aunts and Uncles."
"Okay Aunt Tasha. Is it okay if I call you Aunt Tasha sometimes?"
"Yes."
"Who wants to watch a movie?" Bucky asked.
"I do!" Everyone yelled.
"Who's turn is it to pick?"
"Idk my dude."
