5.
I woke up with a headache. My head was pounding. I groaned and rolled out of bed. I took advil and looked out the window. It was sunny out. I checked the time and it was nine o clock. I didn’t have anything to do today and my private lessons were at five. I sighed. I hopped in the shower and put on shorts and a t-shirt. I decided I would get coffee and then go to the outlet mall and buy clothes to wear. I hadn’t brought a lot of clothes when I moved into the dorms.
I drove to starbucks and ordered my usual mocha. My headache was gone. Thank goodness for advil. I drove to the mall and it was packed. I remembered it was Saturday and that was when all the kids and teens went to the mall. I hated coming to the mall. All you would see were young girls using tight, revealing clothing and super high heels. While the boys were chasing after those kind of girls. The kids at the mall were so clue less when it came to reality. Life wasn’t only about looking good and partying. I sighed and walked to Forever 21. When I entered, that’s when I saw them. I wanted to turn around and run away. But it was too late.
“Well, well, well. Look whose here. It’s the little nerd who couldn’t handle school.” The Barbie wanna be said. I hated her. Her name was Bridget. She was smiling deviously. Her two followers smirking. “You look the same. Ugly as always. How’s college freak. I bet they laugh at you.” She said. “I see youre still stupid as ever.” I replied. “Whatever, at least I didn’t quit school because I couldn’t handle it.youre so weak and you’ll always be weak. You’re probably gonna die alone. I bet not one guy has ever touched you.” She laughed. “At least I’ll be making something of my life.” I said back. “So I was right. Boyfriend-less. I knew it. you’re so pathetic. You should like, die or something. Make everyone’s life easier.” She said and her followers laughed. I couldn’t speak. I was so angry with her. I was ready to jump her when an arm went around me. “Hey babe. Done shopping.”I looked up to see Mr. Sinclare. He was smiling at me. What was he doing here. “Not yet I didn’t get to start yet.” I said. “Okay. I’m all done. I’ll stay with you. I’ve missed you.” He said and kissed my cheek. I heard Bridget gasped. I looked at them. They were ogling mr. Sinclare. “Hey there. What are you doing with her.” Bridget sneered at me. “What do you mean?” he asked. He still had his arm around me. “I mean what is a guy as good looking as you, doing with a girl like her?” she pointed at me with her manicured finger. “What a girl who is smart and beautiful?” he said. “No an ugly witch.” She said. “No, the only ugly witch I see is you and those two behind you. Now excuse us, my girlfriend and I are shopping and you’re in our way.” He said. They gasped and moved aside. Bridget looked pissed off. I laughed.
Mr. Sinclare still had his arm around me as we walked into Forever 21. Girls were gawking at him. Jaws dropping. He was beautiful. “ Thanks. You didn’t have to do that.” I said. We were in the back of the store. He put his arm down. “It’s alright. It was fun seeing them like that.” He said. “How’d you find us?” I asked. “I was walking by and I her bitching at you. So I came to the rescue.” He smiled. “Thanks again.” I said. “Again no problem. It was fun being your boyfriend.” He was still smiling. I hope I wasn’t blushing. “well I should get going. I came to the mall to pick up a few things. I’ve got a meeting at school. I hate those dumb meetings. I’ll see you at five.” He said. “alright. have fun and yea five it is.” I smiled. “I can’t wait.” He said and kissed me on the cheek. He smiled and walked away. I just stood there dazed.
He kissed me on the cheek twice today. It was a soft kiss. I was still smiling. I shook it off and looked for clothes to buy. I spent two hours at the mall. I bought a lot of pants and tops from different stores. I bought several shoes and slippers and a jacket. I had a lot of bags to carry. I had a major shopping spree. It was alright. My parents put an allowance in my card every week and I barely spent it. It was only two o clock and I didn’t know where to go. I decided to go to Borders.
