"Are you sure you can handle more of it?"

Arthit swallows. After five failures, he should be quitting by now. However, he's dedicated to the cause. He looks straight at the woman's eyes and utters, "I'm sure."

"All right then. I will send Dr. Siwakorin for your debriefing. Then, we can start our next session tomorrow."

He inhales a lot of air. "Thank you."

Arthit opens his eyes the next morning in a bed he's so familiar with. It's almost 7 in the morning, and his mind already gets flooded with the amount of work he has to do today.

"Good morning, P'Arthit," Kongpob greets him cheekily. He's wearing a pink apron with a heart in the chest part.

The open door allows the smell of bacon and eggs to enter their bedroom. This time, Arthit is sure Kongpob didn't burn it. "Good morning, Kong."

Kongpob goes blank. Arthit glances at the looking glass before facing Kongpob again.

"Is that bacon?" He asks.

This wakes Kongpob up from his sudden glitch. "Yes, P'Arthit. Let's eat breakfast before you prepare for work?"

Arthit smiles at him. "Okay."

During their breakfast, Arthit notices the improvements in Kongpob. "You perfected the bacon, Kongpob."

"Thank you, P'Arthit. Do you want an egg?"

Kongpob also made the eggs to Arthit's liking, sunny and runny.

"Yes, please."

Kongpob scoops it and flips it to Arthit's plate.

"Will you be busy at work today?"

"I suppose so. I will have two client meetings outside the office aside from my usual workload."

Kongpob frowns. It improved as well. "I am wondering if I can visit your office today."

"Visit my office?"

"To bring you your lunch."

"Oh." There's a long pause. "You don't have to do that. I will have my lunch together with one of our clients."

"But, what time will you be home?"

"Before six."

Kongpob, straight-faced, blinks and seemingly accepts the answer.

"See you later," Arthit tells him after getting his bag.

"P'Arthit, do you really have to go to work today?"

Arthit glances at the looking glass again. "Of course, Kongpob, I need to. I'll see you tonight, okay?"

"Okay."

Kongpob opens his arms for a hug, which Arthit gets into and returns. Kongpob's hug, however, is too tight that Arthit feels the need to escape. He takes a panicked look at his reflection in the mirror as he tries to escape from Kongpob's locked arms.

"Kongpob, I need to go!"

Kongpob finally understands and releases the other from his grip. He's smiling cheekily, so happily, not aware of what he has just done to Arthit.

"Bye," Arthit mutters before closing the door. When he's outside, he lets out a huge sigh.

"Not bad for a first day," he says to himself.

The following day, Arthit wakes up smelling breakfast eggs from the kitchen. He takes a glance at the clock, and it's almost time to get up, but before he does, Kongpob barges in the room, wearing the same pink apron he was wearing yesterday.
