"Good evening, Bangkok! Tonight is another rainy night for us. Expect temperatures ranging from 21° C to 24° C until sunrise tomorrow."

Kongpob is all smiles as he delivers tonight's weather report, but behind the camera is his cameraman, Arthit, who seemingly can't breathe.

Arthit tugs at the collar of his shirt and fans himself with it. It's supposed to be a cold rainy night, but why is he feeling hot? Kongpob has just said it should be cold tonight, but why does Arthit feel like it's summer?

Arthit concentrates at the camera, and there, he sees Kongpob... smirking?

Arthit gulps.

Kongpob, aware of his effect on his cameraman, widens his smile as he proceeds with the rest of his weather report.

Arthit can't believe he's doing this. They are on live TV (at least Kongpob is)! Arthit steps back to ensure he won't do something stupid, like accidentally pushing the camera, and ruin the live telecast.

In the middle of Kongpob's report, however, Arthit goes back to his equipment for its controls, and this time, Kongpob, always one to use a few props to add to his weather reports, brings out a yellow umbrella for extra effect. Arthit stirs the camera a little to the right to make sure the umbrella isn't covering anything when... Kongpob winks?

Arthit is pretty sure Kongpob winked at him, not at the camera.

Arthit quietly groans. When he took up this job, being a simple news channel cameraman, he really didn't expect any of this! He should be contributing to delivering useful information to viewers, not being a subject of live TV flirtations by no other than the weatherman himself!

Arthit swallows and moves away from the camera again, and he can feel Danai, their director, staring at him, probably wondering what's happening to him, but that doesn't matter right now because...

"It's really wet outside."

...he can see Kongpob smirking again at him through the camera.

This is not acceptable!

Kongpob, pretending to be as innocent as ever, now throws his umbrella away and wraps himself with a blanket.

"To stay warm, there are many things you can do! You can wear layered and thick clothing, use extra blankets, eat warm food..."

Arthit's gulps once more as the weatherman's eyes meet his own.

"...and spend extra time with your loved ones tonight."

Arthit chokes. Kongpob's act has Arthit's heart beating fast. Of course, as a quick reaction, he steps back and hardly notices his foot hitting the leg of the camera's tripod. He can almost hear their director's scream, but he's too focused on Kongpob to think about anything else.

Luckily, their director is able to catch the camera, but it surely has captured views that aren't supposed to be seen by resting viewers at their homes. The segment abruptly ends, and the viewers are taken back to the headlines.

"Arthit Rojnapat!"

He finally wakes up and faces his infuriated director. He can only apologize and run away. But before he's able to reach the door, a hand catches his wrist.

"Where are you going?" It's Kongpob.

"O-outside."

"It's raining. Haven't you heard my report?"

Arthit just purses his lips and gazes at their linked arms.

Kongpob continues, "I'm sorry about earlier. I didn't mean to—"

"It's not your fault," Arthit says, cutting him off, even though he's pretty convinced, too, that it was completely Kongpob's fault.

Kongpob tilts his head at him, and Arthit's heart jumps because Kongpob looks so adorable, even without his umbrella or his blanket.

"The thing is... I wanted to ask if you want to come with me tonight."

Arthit doesn't answer. He just widens his eyes.

"What I mean is... let's have dinner together."

"With the crew?"

"Just us. I want to... eat warm food." Kongpob smiles.

Arthit is exploding inside, and his expression makes it appear like he's constipated. Not trusting his own words but is more than willing to come with Kongpob, he just fiercely nods his head. And Kongpob's smiles more.

"I'll meet you after the show." Kongpob lets go of his hand and waves at him. He jogs back to the set, lips still curved.

As promised, after the show, the two go to a noodle house.

It's still raining, but they are quite relieved that they are spending the cold night with warm food and someone they will someday call their loved one.
